The food is delicious and the dining experience is very clean. I really enjoy the option of choosing a half sandwich along with one or two sides.

Goodness, this place is the best! Try the chicken kabobs and the creme brulee, the apple crisp is amazing too. Great service by Mia. Nice, atmosphere and fantastic taste. 5 stars!

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was excellent. As for parking, the restaurant is located at a street intersection, with parking available behind it. It may be a bit confusing at first, but it's definitely worth it.

Very good cuisine, fish, meat, pasta and vegetarian dishes on the menu as well as a well-stocked wine and beer list. Thank you for the delicate attention of sending us a kind Quebecois waitress to explain the menu to us and guide us in our choice.

A mother son California fresh local restaurant. The extra cost covers for the high quality of this gem hidden away from the main strip of Carpinteria. Unique and fresh twists on traditional dishes. If you can, go to their butcher shop next door to get fresh meat specialities they're give away their secrets. Ver carta

Had dinner and thought the food was very good. Menu offered nice choices and did them well. Located in a strip mall with free easy parking. Decor is a bit worn but has plenty of windows and feels inviting. Service was minimum, waiter was not friendly and did not check on us. Manager/owner was there to attend her favorites. The restaurant has a small porch area for outside dining, we dined inside, it was very noisy, really bad acoustics.

The food and service were satisfactory; I have no complaints in that regard. The service was attentive. However, I was not pleased to see a 3% surcharge for credit card payments added to my bill. I had to request its removal since I paid in cash. It would have been more appropriate for the restaurant to inquire about the preferred payment method before presenting the bill with this charge. If I hadn't carefully reviewed the bill, I might have ended up paying that fee despite having paid in cash.

Unhappy about the fact that We paid over 106$ plus tip for two entrees and an appetizer. One of the entrees (eggplant parm) was basically inedible due to the fact that it was so bitter. The bitterness was coming from an overwhelming amount of olives? I have never had olives and olive brine in eggplant parm in my life. I am Italian and I was deeply offended by them ruining my favorite dish. It also lacked cheese and flavor. It didn’t even come with side pasta or anything for 17$. The steak was tasty but felt as though they shorted us on mashed potatoes. Ver carta
