"We attempted to reserve an outdoor table but were informed that outdoor seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. I explained to the staff that I am severely immunocompromised and requested a special exception, as it would be impossible for me to dine indoors. If that couldn't be accommodated, we would have to leave. The manager then spoke to me and said, “Sorry! If I make an exception for you, I’d have to do it for everyone,” and refused my request. She added that if I arrived and felt uncomfortable staying, it would be my decision. This experience felt very ableist and was quite disappointing. I genuinely hope that the manager never has to face a condition that requires her to depend on special accommodations."

The food was fantastic, and the outdoor patio was lovely. The service was professional, although a bit slow due to the restaurant being busy. Overall, I would rate the experience as follows: Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5. I highly recommend the Caprese Salad and Chicken Genovese!

Canned chicken was better than what had come with my “Alfredo” that tasted more like a bad Mac and cheese. Chicken was dark meat only. The server was amazing and food came quick, although service was great. All of our party of 3 agreed worst Italian food we’ve ever had. Will never be visiting again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Zucca hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner for 80. Absolutely the best experience. Brian and his amazing staff made the night unforgettable. Food and cocktails were delicious. Brian was so flexible and reassuring at every request and change we made. All of the guests were blown away and most importantly, the happy couple was delightedHIGHLY recommend!! Service: Dine in

So drove over 15 minutes to dine here on a Sunday, arrived at 8;20pm. Waited over 3 minutes to be acknowledged. Then we're told they were closed, yet Google hours say they closed at 9pm. Their explanation...short staffed. Have dined multiple times in the past, but there has been a real decline under new management. This place was much better when managed by Matt. Food was delicious, service was great. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Photos are the Mista Salad and Bruschetta I was enjoying everything so much that I forgot to take pictures the rest of our food. Chicken Parm, Pesto Rigatoni, Spaghetti and Meatballs and Chicken Genovese. And Fettuccine Quatro Formaggio. Would definitely recommend all of these dishes and the the restaurant as well! Food: 5

I had higher expectations for this restaurant, but I ended up feeling disappointed. I tried both types of sangria, but they both had a bitter aftertaste. The soup of the day, which was broccolini soup, was overly salty, as was the Chicken Genovese. There’s also a $3 fee for splitting plates, but it would be nice if they actually pre-split the dish instead of just providing one regular plate and one empty dish. Additionally, be aware that all orders include a mandatory 4% Kitchen Farmer Living Wage Surcharge. For those with dietary restrictions, gluten-free pizza and pasta are available, but there’s an extra $4 charge for that.

"Now, let's talk about the food. The crab cake appetizer was the best we've ever had! It was mostly pure crab with just enough breadcrumbs on the outside to hold it together, featuring large chunks of crab. Delicious! We had heard repeatedly that Repeal has the best steaks in the city, so we felt we had to try them. Unfortunately, we didn't agree. My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side, even though I requested it medium well (with a bit of pink). My husband’s steak was undercooked despite him ordering medium well, too. While we could have sent them back, we usually don’t unless something is inedible, so we were just disappointed. The steaks were still edible and good—just not great! The $20 twice-baked potato wasn’t worth the price, even with truffle slices and truffle oil included. The Caesar salad was also underwhelming. The white anchovies were an interesting addition, but they didn’t elevate the salad for us. The bread pudding, however, was fantastic! I highly recommend it. On the downside, the cocktails were below par. I know this may seem like a harsh critique of Repeal, but that’s not my intention! I think we set our expectations too high and were somewhat let down given the prices. With that said, would I go back? Yes! I would just choose very different items from the menu next time and likely opt for wine over cocktails."
