"I tried this place at lunch today because of the reviews. It is in a strip mall and is easy to miss when driving by, but I'm so glad I found them! When I walked in I got slapped in the nostrils by an overwhelming smell of unicorns and rainbows. It was magical. Garlic and warm herbs permeate the atmosphere. I started with a bowl of the Poblano White Cheddar soup. It was creamy and delicious. If spicy food bothers you than you need not be scared by word Poblano. It is a VERY mild pepper and perfectly crafted with the cheddar so that neither flavor is overpowering. It's also not too rich as cheese soup can tend to be. It was served with two slices of bread that look big and bulky, but when I bit into them they were quite soft except for a delicious crunch on the surface. I then ordered The Bomb sandwich with no tomato and extra aioli. This is their claim to fame and for good reason. The sandwich provided a flavor that matched what I smelled when I walked in. The aioli was strong and flavorful, but it didn't overpower the chicken which was seasoned perfectly. The bread was delicious and fresh as well. For dessert (because why stop now? I tried the Cuban Bread Pudding. Traditionally, regular bread pudding is served in a bowl and is pretty mushy. This was on a plate and was firmer, yet still light and moist. The flavor leaned toward cinnamon with a hint of chocolate that was drizzled on it. It was not overly sweet at all and was a delightful conclusion to my ginormous lunch. I didn't talk about the service. There was only one server working and she had her hands full with 6 other tables and multiple to go orders. However at no point did I find myself wanting for anything, and she was knowledgeable with the menu and took her time answering my questions even though she was slammed. Overall, I cannot wait to come back even though I live 35 minutes away. I can't imagine this place can possibly last in this location much longer because it's small and I would think they'll get so popular they need to move to a bigger spot. 5 stars. Try them if you're in Andover. I don't have one complaint."

"For quite some time I've been meaning to go to Stonewood Tavern, it's only a few minutes away from my home and I've seen good reviews and it just sounded really good. I took the initiative offered a date night with my husband; we ended up going to the Stonewood tavern. We were immediately sat, we were asked if we had reservations, and we didn't but no issue because there was no wait. This was a Thursday at dinner time, so you can picture it . I don't know why I thought there was a patio with a waterfront seating but there wasn't. They did have a patio but it wasn't opened, nor offered. We were sat in a booth by the window greeted promptly by our waitress, very nice waitress we had! She brought us some water to start complimentary bread. I asked her a question about the menu and she did not even hesitate to help me out, (brownie points!! I appreciated that a lot. She even welcomed us since it was our first time dining there. For appetizers we ordered the Spanikopita. I love spinach, I love Greek food so there's a high standard when it comes to Spanikopita. To drink I ended up drinking a seltzer with lemon lime and my husband went along with a beer flight you can choose 4 beers on draft for $10. For our dinner selections I picked the Stifado my husband picked the skirt steak dinner. Now mind you the prices at the Stonewood tavern are a bit pricey. I was looking at their dessert menu. It was the generic dessert list: cheesecake chocolate cake, carrot cake, apple crisp, nothing spectacular. We received our appetizer the Spanikopita... when we looked at it it was 5 pieces of very small Spanikopita. They looked like little bite, basically for $11 I thought that was a little pricey for just spinach, feta and filo. At this point now we were looking at each other thinking "

"As a wedding photographer, I've had the immense pleasure of documenting numerous love stories at various venues, but my recent experience at Perona Farms left me utterly enchanted and inspired. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds of this breathtaking venue, I knew I was in for a remarkable journey of creativity and artistry. One of the most remarkable features of Perona Farms is its versatility. The rustic yet refined barn exudes a sense of warmth that wraps around you like a cozy embrace, while the elegant ballrooms add a touch of grandeur to the celebration. As a photographer, having such a diverse array of settings to work with is an absolute dream come true. Speaking of dreams, the lighting at Perona Farms is a true photographer's fantasy. Natural light floods in through large windows, creating a soft, ethereal glow that lends an enchanting quality to every photograph. The Ceremony locations are stunning and allow for natural open air, or a closed roof if there is rain on the forecast. Of course, no review of Perona Farms would be complete without mentioning the impeccable attention to detail that the staff provides. As a photographer, collaboration with the venue's team is essential, and I can confidently say that the professionalism and dedication they display are second to none. They understand the importance of every fleeting moment and go above and beyond to ensure that both the couple and the vendors are fully supported throughout the entire wedding day. I'd love to talk about the freaking food too! The cocktail hour selection was incredible. From hand cut charcuterie to fresh wood fired pizzas, and then tacos being made on the spot. There was no shortage of food at all!!"
