"I will start this off with stating the fact that this place is pretty awesome. However, I think half the menu is the best BBQ ever, and the other half mediocre. I definitely recommend the 1/4 Chicken, Burnt ends, brisket, all sandwiches, Brunswick stew, collard greens and a few other. I think the actual chopped pork and chicken BBQ is fine, and the ribs are a little pricey and not spectacular. I think most of the sides are just ok (Mac and cheese, coleslaw etc), but the BBQ potatoes are something not to be enjoyed by mortal man. Most of the time the staff is incredibly hospitable, and it seems like they have your best interest in mind. Even the owner will check on you from time to time. On the weekdays I have had some run-ins with cranky staff, but honestly I think it's just the children of the owner who don't want to be there. Also, if you get there after lunch or after dinner they will likely be sold out of a lot, so plan in advance when you're going to get there. Overall I think this place is pretty awesome and I always enjoy listening to the goofy bluegrass remixes while I eat some great barbecue. I have edited my review to be five stars because in retrospect this place probably deserves it. My last experience was definitely my most negative, so I had a slight bad taste in my mouth from that."
