"Beware. This property presents well. Very pretty building and grounds. Likely picturesque for weddings. Good food. However, our room left something to be desired (cleanliness and basic maintenance/repair were issues and the bathroom wasliterallythe WORST I’ve ever experienced in my 58 years of living and traveling many places in the US and other countries. Focusing on the bathroom, the sink drained extremely slowly, to the point that one wondered if it was draining at all, and the tub faucet cycled from flowing little water toagain, literallynone. The worst part is that it became apparent that management had to have been aware of the issues for a very long time. At least 11 years based on at least one old review I found. But it doesn’t stop them from not warning customers in advance and charging full prices. I wrote a very lengthy and detailed email of complaint to management after my stay. To his credit, the GM called me to discuss my experience. But it confirmed my belief that they knew of the issues. I was offered a better stay in the future if I find myself in the area again, but I have my doubts that the water issues will be overcome. Besides the water issues (a hotel without adequate basic water service in the US? , it’s a shame that several of the other issues in the room (cleanliness and basic maintenance/repair would be really easy fixes. The fact that they were neglected, and for apparently a long time, is a very large and telling red flag."

"If you 're in the market for an infuriatingly simple order to be botched not once but twice, Hungry Howie 's Pizza is your go-to destination! My recent encounters with this establishment’s so-called service were an exercise in frustration and disbelief. I ordered bone-in original chicken wings—a seemingly straightforward request that any competent establishment should be able to handle. The result? A spectacular display of culinary confusion. Round One: The Buffalo Debacle Instead of delivering the wings as ordered, they generously decided I would enjoy buffalo sauce wings. A mistake, sure. Accidents happen, right? But wait, there’s more! Round Two: BBQ Blunder Learning nothing from their prior failure, they delivered BBQ sauce wings on my second attempt. Clearly, this team treats ticket accuracy as a whimsical suggestion rather than a core responsibility. To their credit, they did recook the wings on both occasions after I pointed out their glaring incompetence. But the real question remains: How hard is it to read and execute a simple order correctly the first time? This isn’t quantum physics; it’s basic food service. If I wanted the wrong order followed by a reluctant fix, I could have gone to any random gas station snack counter and saved myself the trouble. Final Thoughts Hungry Howie’s, you’ve turned a simple order into a case study on why attention to detail matters. Your ability to consistently disappoint is, frankly, impressive. Two strikes, and I’m out. If anyone else values their time, patience, or ability to enjoy a meal as they ordered it, I suggest steering clear of this circus of incompetence."
