"We drove in from Houston yesterday, and I was excited to try this place out. It was rainy out, but that wasn't going to stop me from trying it. We walked in, and the atmosphere was beautiful. It was exactly what I expected. Sadly my husband noticed that we were getting looks as if we didn't belong there. I didn't notice because I was just so excited to try it. We get to the counter and I start to look at the menu and asked for the item I was excited to try. The girl at the register was very short with us and seemed to be annoyed and responded with no it's seasonal. So I asked well what's popular. She told me to try the ham and cheese. So we decided to leave. It was apparent that if you are not from the area you are not welcome. We took our business to Coffee: 30 and got the best service."

"Nous avons passé la journée dans le quartier des Bishops Arts. Nous avons mangé une pizza chez Enzo avec un groupe de 6 personnes. Nous avons eu des salades, une trempette aux artichauts et des pizzas. Le barman était très sympathique. Le serveur était attentionné. La trempette aux artichauts était bonne, complètement différente de l'habitude, les salades étaient fraîches, la pizza est plus un pain plat. C'est comme une garniture de pizza sur un craquelin. C'était un bon changement de rythme et tout le monde a apprécié, mais ce n'était pas la pizza habituelle. L'atmosphère est animée et le restaurant est très bien situé. Nous avons passé un bon moment et nous y retournerions."

"Southern Spice meets a big slam with her southern hospitality! From the greetings you receive while you are in the waiting staff coughing all the time! Such a pleasure, real customer satisfaction with a meal as close as possible at home cooking, that is SO rare in these days! You have daily specialties that satisfy one of their dessert options, the chocolate cake, lemon cake, bread pudding, or something that will certainly satisfy your sweet tooth after a great serving. The specials are totally ingenious as well as their chicken and sourcing rubber bumbo. And if you order a cup, prepare yourself to something bigger than what the other places with very nice size pieces of chicken and sausage serve! LOVED are also not shy of waiting employees of all ages! One is the sweetest lady who comes past to make sure you get everything you need to help as it is busy, so ALWAYS go early or you can wait a bit, but they get food quickly served and turn tables quickly, without feeling rushed 1 bit! Love this place and recommend to eat here to some of their specials a week!"

"First, let me start by: I really wanted to like this place Unfortunately, as you can see in the picture: that didn’t work out. Our outing started out nice for my birthday brunch, but half way through my “chefs choice” omelette I was in for a rude awakening. I was pretty grossed out at what I found in my omelette dark hair) and even more so at the conflict resolution between my server Mary) and the Chef’s resolve. Firstly, we brought this up very calmly and kindly to our server and asked her if she could please take the plate away and she was apologetic and SUPER soft spoken). I asked her as a alternative to the situation if she could bring just a new side of pulled pork and avocado sauce the filling of the “chefs choice” omelette). I was extremely shocked and even more grossed out) when she came back and said “chef inspected for more hairs and said it was clear and replated it for you”. I was really confused as to why they would replate the same omelette I was grossed out by and found the hair in and try to pass it off as okay. I was simply asking for a “new side of the pulled pork” I don’t know where that got lost in translation When I asked our server Mary) for the check, my girlfriend noticed she charged us for a pulled pork sandwich $16) when we ordered a $22 chef choice omelette. We brought it up to her and she mentioned she wrote a sandwich when she first took the order. Very confusing and seems avoidant on behalf the management here. I figured a manager or even the chef would have tried to come out and resolve or at least be apologetic about the unwanted hair in my food. Sucks that this was my birthday brunch experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back next time."

"Update… Even though we had a great waitress the first time, the following one was terrible. 10 minutes after sitting we order our drinks. 10 minutes after that our food. Thankfully we ordered appetizers because the food did not come out for another hour. The waitress came by 4 times all together. She neglected her tables. Once to take out drink order, next for our food, then to let us know our food is late, and last to give us the food and our tickets (because honestly I was fed up). The food came out cold on one of the entrees. Yes, I should have spoken up, but I’m not looking for anything for free and I felt as if it was a waste of time that I already spent. Hopefully this was just a one time issue. Original review: Great waitresses. Was able to suggest her recommendations. The moonshine margarita is a must try!"

"This restaurant has gone through numerous changes, and unfortunately, the most recent ones have not impressed me. While I appreciate the option to order electronically, the new layout feels rather cold and uninviting compared to how it used to be. Gone are the delicious baked goods; now, there are only nut bars and a banana available. It feels more like a generic coffee shop chain rather than the beloved local spot it once was. My breakfast sandwich was just okay, but my snickerdoodle coffee was still as amazing as ever."

"This restaurant is a surprise success. The pork rinds delivered to table are delicious. I’ve eaten here 4 times now. Today was my first try with brunch. They have bottomless mimosas! The breakfast puff was good but not a repeat for me. The burger is one of my favorite in town! The pork and beef mix gives a flavorful. The prime special po boy is a take of Darrell’s special. Bread is more traditional firm French loaf. The over all take is less messy than Darrell’s but same flavor minus bread. The best service! Food is always timely. I have even eaten here with a group of 16! Every time I’ve been here I’ve had no complaints."

"I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant. Me and my boyfriend dined here for our 6 year anniversary and our waiter was amazing. The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks were great! "The atmosphere was calming on a Tuesday night. I ordered the Kinsale steak, which had a fantastic twist with a crust and garnish. The colcannon was quite good as well—not kale, but a delicious alternative. I requested my steak to be cooked medium-rare, and it was not only visually appealing but also tasted fantastic. The coleslaw was excellent too. If you're looking for something different from traditional options, definitely give this place a try. The Scotch eggs make for a great appetizer as well. I'm sure I will return, and I definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Took my teenage son for Sunday brunch: the dining was fantastic and the music by the Street Side Jazz Band was amazing! (Music starts an hour after they open. Special thanks to Skylar our waitress who provided EXCELLENT service! 5/5 stars for service, food, ambience and the live music. We will definitely be back! Parking on the street out front and within easy walking distance. PRO TIP: Make sure to get there before 10:30 am on Sunday morning if you want a good seat without the wait."

"We have had many opportunities to taste different Greek Lebanese restaurants, but this one is the MVP! (Most Valuable Pick) this Zeus is the crème de La crème! Atmosphere is great, service was fantastic, but the Food was the best I have ever eaten! From the Special Combo plate(Gyro chicken) to the kibby yellow rice. We ordered almost everything on the menu and Everything was the best smelling and tasting food we ever had!!! Great job Zeus in Lake Charles! Seems like This is where Zeus started in the states. "I was dining at Roloto's with my parents and my children. All four of which are hard to please when it comes to restaurants. This was a surprising meal. My parents had a muffuletta. The sandwich was great, especially with the pepperoni that Rotolo's adds. My son had a meatball appetizer which he loved. The only problem was that he wanted 3 more orders. My daughter ordered a huge cookie. This was a plate-sized confection The entire plate was covered with this warm, chewy cookie. In the center was a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A drizzle of chocolate sauce finished the dessert. I had a Greek salad. It was awesome! My parents and my children loved their food. We are definitely going back..."

"I've spent a year in Louisiana, and this is the first truly great meal I've had at a restaurant. I ordered the gluten-free snapper entree, a duck appetizer, and finished with crème brûlée for dessert. Every dish was absolutely perfect. There was no wait time for anything; everything arrived at just the right moment—not too fast, not too slow, as if I had timed it myself. Even the check came promptly after we finished, but not so soon that we felt rushed. Since we were the first diners there, we received attentive service from several servers. I regret not remembering the name of my favorite server; he was wonderful, but when he moved to another table, I was a bit disappointed because the new server didn't quite get my jokes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely return."

"UPDATE 3 days later: I just noticed someone left a positive review the same day I left my review and the owner responded the same day to that person as well as responding the same day to previous ones before that but didn't respond to mine lol. I guess from the reviews I read, the owners only respond to positive reviews and a few of negative ones where they blame the customer, take no accountability, and have sarcastic comments for their valued customer like Cindy, who complained she got sick from the seafood. Never once did Cindy say it was food poisoning and never once did owner apologize for her experience. Being that I actually work at an urgent care, I know there are plenty of reasons why Cindy could have been given an injection related to nausea and pain NOT allergies. So before you copy and paste a Google definition of food allergy or food poisoning, do some extensive research on the topic at hand or just apologize for the experience and keep it moving. I just love supporting small businesses for years like Pizza Artista, where i tip EVERYTIME, just to be intentionally ignored by the owner, the one time I ACTUALLY report a negative experience i had. NEVER AGAIN!!!! NO PHONY RESPONSE NEEDED! LESSON LEARNED! Be careful and mindful of what small businesses you support! ORIGINAL MESSAGE Normally I have nothing but good things to say about this place but unfortunately I didn't have a good experience Friday. I ordered the swamp daddy pizza shrimp, crab, crawfish, tasso, and sausage) which is my favorite. I've been ordering since it was originally priced at $14.99 and have continued to order it even as it's price has increased because it's usually worth it. When I got my pizza there were literally 7 crawfish total on the entire pizza, one crawfish per slice and one slice was lucky to get 2 crawfish as if they were strategically placed that way. I usually order in person and from watching how they measure topping with measuring cup, I could tell this wasn't the case. It looked like the person who made the pizza personally counted each crawfish that was on the pizza. Considering the fact that this particular pizza has gone up in price a couple of times, at the very least I expect to get what I paid for. There was barely any sauce on the pizza which made it very dry. There was absolutely nothing flavorful about the pizza except for the balsamic drizzle that I added. Pizza tasted like the cardboard box it came in. I couldn't believe how bland and dry the pizza was. I forced myself to eat two slices because I was hungry at work and couldn't leave to bring it back. The swamp daddy pizza is my favorite because it usually has a seafood boil taste. I'm not a pizza person but this is the only place I will order pizza from due to thier varieties. Not sure what happened this time but I was very disappointed. :"
