"We ended up waiting quite a while for the host to greet us. When he finally arrived, he asked if we had reservations, which struck me as funny given how few customers were there. After checking on a table for us, he made us wait an additional five minutes before seating us. To my surprise, there were only two other tables with guests. I couldn't understand why it took so long to be seated, a total of ten minutes.
The menu, while somewhat limited, looked appealing. We decided on an appetizer and our main courses. The Burrata Caprese was tasty, but the dipping sauce for the bread was a disappointment; it was just a mix of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, with the vinegar overpowering the flavor.
The most frustrating part of the evening was that one of the specials was veal ravioli, alongside veal Parmesan on the menu. I initially planned to order the veal Parmesan but, upon seeing the special, I asked if the veal was stuffed in the ravioli or served outside it. The server informed me that it was served outside, so I ordered the ravioli. Unfortunately, she was mistaken— the ravioli was actually stuffed with finely ground veal and cheese. Had I known this, I would have chosen something else, which was why I asked in the first place. Meanwhile, a nearby table was enjoying the veal Parmesan, which looked absolutely delicious. I felt both jealous and frustrated, especially since I had made an effort to confirm my choice.
Overall, the dish was decent but nothing extraordinary—I'd classify it as average. The service was acceptable but could have been more attentive given how few guests were there; at most, there were just three tables occupied with a total of eight patrons. Considering the long drive and my mixed experience, I'm uncertain if I would return. They really need to improve the entrance, as it gives off an unsettling vibe, and the empty lobby area only intensified that feeling."
