"Absolutely and utterly delicious! Breathtakingly good. Never have I eaten at an Italian restaurant that had me gasp at every bite.It was clear and obvious the quality of the food and the fact that it was homemade.we ordered:See the video for yourself, the meat is actually falling off the bone. so tender, so juicy and riddled with flavor. A battle I had was continuing to eat more while realizing I was getting too full! Great portion sizes!I'm counting the days until we return. "I typically always forget to write google reviews but this place deserves every word I have to say. I found this spot because the luggage storage app, bounce, sent me here to hold my bags while I toured apartments for the day. Before I left my bags, I decided to try a quiche which was so much better than expected. Growing up in my father's deli, I tend to have high standards for most food because I can usually recognize good ingredients so safe to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised with my quiche. Around mid-day I fell walking around in NoMa and severely hurt my knee. Rather than continuing my tours for the day I decided to come back to pick up my bags and potentially go to the airport to arrive early for my flight. When I got to Old City Market and Oven, they actually gave me ice for my knee and let me sit downstairs uninterrupted. While I was downstairs the cashier told me to call the number in case I needed anything so they can come down and help because they didn't want me walking up the stairs for anything stupid. To say they were sweet was understatement, the level of care I received felt like I was in one of my dad's restuarants growing up which in my opinion is not something you see these days. I decided to have a pizza while I waited because another customer said it was amazing. Even though I was skeptical due to the paper menu, they really did their big one with that pear pizza. This spot really made my day and it makes me happy establishments at this tier still exist."

"This is the perfect place for a date! The ambiance is stunning, featuring a charming, historic feel with hardwood floors, antique furniture, and elegant brocade wallpaper. The service was exceptional as well! A special thanks to Hernan, who was fantastic—so friendly and always ready to refill our drinks. He even treated us to some delicious lemon drinks at the end of the evening. What a wonderful person! After our meal, we took a stroll down to the water, which is just a few minutes away. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we will definitely be returning."

"We arrived around 3 PM on a Sunday, which turned out to be the perfect time. We sat in a cozy indoor booth, and the music created a delightful ambiance that complemented the restaurant’s beautiful decor. I ordered the pork entree, and it was outstanding. Some of the best pork I've ever had—tender, rich, and expertly seasoned, paired wonderfully with the soft and fluffy white rice. My mother chose the popcorn chicken bento box and declared it the best fried chicken she's ever tasted. I tried a piece, and it was incredibly crunchy and juicy, seasoned to perfection. The cabbage in the bento was tender with just the right amount of crunch, and the corn and sausage were delicious. My uncle tried a ramen bowl with pork belly, finishing it in no time. He’s a ramen enthusiast and said it was one of the best he ever had! The pork was tender and thinly sliced, and the broth was rich and flavorful. My cousin ordered a ramen bowl with chicken, which was equally fantastic! For dessert, we tried the monster dessert, which was both adorable and delicious. This place is truly a gem! Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We can't wait to come back!"

"One of the best fine dining experiences available in DC. Do not hesitate to visit for one of the best dining experiences of your life! Every single bite did not disappoint and you just can't go wrong with whatever you order. We started with the first round of drinks (Cardamom Bee's Knees Brown Butter Old Fashioned) and knew in that moment we would be in for a special treat. We split the Ravioli dish, which had exceptionally seasoned mushrooms you could almost mistake them for beef. We ordered the Halibut and Duck dishes for main courses and every aspect of the dish was just pure slices of heaven on a fork. To top it off, we finished with the chocolate dessert and wished we had more room to eat more and drink more! High recommend for someone celebrating a special occasion, or want to impress someone with exceptional fine dining."

"The overall experience at this restaurant was good. Would I come back again? Maybe. I think I can make better chicken tenders at home, and I'm not just saying that! Haha. My biggest complaint is with our server. He was friendly when he initially came to our table, but getting his attention for anything else was a challenge. A busser had to fetch him for us to place our order after we were ready. Once our food was served, we didn't see him again until we had finished eating. We are currently waiting for him to come by so we can pay, which has also been difficult. While he was efficient, it felt like it came at the expense of truly warm customer service. He wasn't bad by any means, but could have been more welcoming. The prices for the food were fair, and probably the most affordable we've had on this trip."

"This is a beautiful place if you are looking for an affordable bakery in Georgetown. It's out of the beaten path, but still so close to Main Street. The large part is also, there is a little outside seating directly opposite. I got the cinnamon roll and the employee asked if I wanted to warm it. The icing was beautiful, but felt a bit dry inside. This is of course only personal opinion and others like to love it! I thought the article was very cheap. My total was $3 here in DC. The interior is quiet, but was really very warm. Heads up make sure to ask the Wi-Fi password as each person gets an individual code on a piece of paper. Also when using the toilet room, make sure to ask an employee for the key. Very nice place to sit and relax or do some work. We look forward to other menu items."

"First time going into a Peet’s coffee store. Walking in the aroma is super fantastic, and makes your mouth water. Customer service is super friendly and welcoming to be in DC. Lots of different options to pick from. We got a slow drip and a caramel latte with almond milk. For the latte being almond milk, I was beyond impressed. So smooth, lots of flavor, and so amazing that I had to come back and get a second coffee later in the day! ALSO the chocolate croissant was to die for! Coffee store was super clean, organized, and a perfect place to study."

"Upon entering the restaurant, I was impressed by how well-maintained and clean it was. The decor was stylish and modern, with a touch of industrial charm from the brick and iron accents. The bathroom was sleek and tidy as well. Returning to the dimly lit dining area, I perused the menu after scanning the QR code. Jinya offered a wide variety of fusion appetizers and meals, such as chashu rice bowls. I decided on a classic tonkotsu ramen with no toppings and a side of takoyaki. The food took a bit longer to arrive compared to other ramen spots, but the presentation was spot on. The ajitama and chashu slices were delicious, with a perfect texture and umami flavor. However, I found myself craving more variety in flavors and textures once I finished the toppings, as only noodles and broth remained. I considered ordering extra toppings, but the base price of $20 was already steep. I couldn't help but think of other ramen joints in Little Tokyo that offered fully loaded bowls for half the price. Despite this, I enjoyed slurping up the bold yet not overpowering broth. The portion size seemed a bit small, even with the tasty takoyaki on the side. Adding toppings may have made the portion more satisfying. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent, but the portion size left me wanting more. I would definitely consider returning in the future."

"While exploring U Street, I came across a charming eatery on 11th called The Greek Spot and instantly decided it would be my lunch destination for the day. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon, so cooking was out of the question. I was the only customer in the shop when I arrived, but the cozy atmosphere put me at ease. I ordered the gyro pita with fries inside and patiently waited for about 10 minutes for my meal to be freshly prepared. The music playing in the background was a collection of hit songs from 2013, creating a fantastic ambiance. I took my food home and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size considering the reasonable prices for DC. The gyro was tender, the fries were perfectly crispy (definitely worth the extra $1), and the creamy sauce added a nice balance to the savory meat and fries. Overall, a delicious and affordable dining experience at The Greek Spot."

"I don't know if this still has the restaurant attached, but I have been to the restaurant twice (December 2012 and spring of 2013) and both times the food has been superb. My classmate who is Ethiopian recommended it as her favorite restaurant so the first time we went it was for my birthday. It was my husband's first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and we both loved it. The honey wine was also delicious. The second time I went was with several classmates and it was again the best food. Some of them had not had Ethiopian food before and everyone liked it. I would highly recommend this place above some of the more popular well-frequented locations. This is more of an authentic experience. And FYI, injera as a leftover is quite good with fried eggs, onions, and peppers the next morning!"

"Delicious tacos! I got the north grill taco, which consisted of well seasoned mahi-mahi, tasty Chipotle sour cream dressing, and pickled vegetables like lettuce and onion. Along with that, came a delicious yellow lime rice. After my meal, The cashier kindly explained to me how they make their tacos, so that I can replicate the recipe at home. This place is slightly pricey, but definitely worth the price in a big city like DC. Also, they have a fine range of tasty hot sauces. Finally, they’re very quick! I got my taco in under five minutes!"

Since then, I have tried to contact them many times. They do not answer their phone number (voicemail box is full). They do not respond to the contact form on their website. The email address listed on their social media returns as undeliverable. They have not responded to direct messages on instagram. My credit card was charged for an order I never received, and there is actually no way to contact anyone who represents Grazie Grazie. I would strongly recommend not ordering from them, because if you have any kind of issue, you are completely out of luck."

Let's start with the bagel it was sorta thin, didn't have much chew at all, honestly if it wasn't shaped like a bagel I might not know it was one. It was also weirdly sweet? Which for an asiago bagel was weird. It did ok as sandwich bread though.For the sandwich tasted mostly fine, questionable choice serving a sausage egg and cheese with three sausage links cut in half, just weird and everything falls apart. I don't have one near me so I doubt I'll return anytime soon, I'd go if it was around the corner with no other options but for me not really worth the carbs. Prices are better than other shops (around 7 or $8 for the sandwich), but is it worth it.."

"We had dinner here a month back while visiting dc and found ourselves talking about it again last night while experiencing bad service somewhere else in our hometown. I cannot recommend enough coming to A.P. and sitting at the bar to order food. Our bartender, Alex, was a clear fan favorite as everyone enjoyed his service he had excellent suggestions, always topped off a drink before we even noticed it half full, and was the number one best thing about our dinner experience. The pizza, drinks, and tiramisu were great, don’t get me wrong, but we have since told all dc friends to visit this spot because of its superior service, and we’re still talking about it today. You just don’t get that kind of service everyday."

"09.19.2023. It was Taco Tuesday I wanted something that would tantalize my tastebuds. I considered my normal taco spot in the District, but I haven't been fully satisfied as of late. Enter Surfside Taco!!We found street parking walked to the Wharf Taco Stand. Garage parking is over $30. This place is really cute and celebrates the Caribbean culture. I waited in line versus ordering from the self serve stations. It was hard deciding because there was so many options. I ordered the St. Lucia tacos. Two tacos with a small side of yellow rice is $15.95. Since it was Taco Tuesday, they offered a 3rd taco as a BONUS. Yay!! I selected the Maui taco. My friend ordered Negril tacos his bonus was the Cabo San Lucas. Seating indoor outdoor is limited, but we were able to grab seats outside once a patron finished. Our number was called about 12 minutes later. We went inside to grab our food. The tacos were filled to the brim and the textures flavors were on point!! They are some of the tastiest tacos I've had in a long time plus this location is pretty good for people watching. Can't wait to return!"

"The drinks were strong and delightful; I highly recommend the lime mezcal margarita. The pupusas were fantastic, perfectly thick with just the right amount of dough, and I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the curtido is! Although I didn’t order it this time, my favorite dish is the bistec al caballo. The beans are incredible, and the eggs are always cooked to perfection. Parking can be a challenge, but that's the case anywhere worth visiting. I’ve consistently had a wonderful experience here, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit. The bachata classics playing in the background add to the ambiance and make me feel right at home."
