Great service and location, especially sunset. Food was average. Squid doesn't go great with potatoes! Scallops were overcooked and soggy! Dessert was great.

We were enchanted with everything about this place. Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere, tasty food and nice cocktails. It was a significant evening in a beautiful hotel.

The view was absolutely stunning! The staff were friendly, and the food was beautifully presented, though on the smaller side (you might want to eat at home first!). Oh, and did I mention the view? Voir le carte

We had a great time going out to 1 Pico for Thanksgiving! We have always cooked. We definitely enjoyed the relaxation of not spending the day cooking! Food was great, table for 6 was roomy yet still perfect for conversation. Service was exceptional! ??

This place was absolutely amazing. It's located in Santa Monica and has very scenic and beautiful views. The entire staff was very friendly. Our waiter was a very nice gentleman. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the Lobster Benedict and it didn't not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

First time at this restaurant and I was just amazed by the location. You have a beautiful view of the ocean from this restaurant. The ambience is 5 star and the employees working here were great, courteous and friendly. The food was just amazing. Hands down one of the best seafood restaurants in the LA. I highly recommend this place for all the seafood lovers. All the items we ordered were great. Definitely will return to this restaurant if in LA. He recommended the grilled prawns appetizer, which was outstanding. The sea urchin pasta had a nice taste of the ocean; while it wasn’t the best uni I’ve had, it paired nicely with the pasta. The halibut smelled incredible and complemented the peas, artichoke, and lightly grilled onion. Although it wasn’t overly flavorful at first, it grew on me, especially after adding a little salt. Our waiter also convinced us to try the one dessert I hadn’t considered, the salted caramel sundae, and he was spot on—it was delicious and all the components worked perfectly together. All in all, it was a wonderful evening!

This review has been a long time coming. Years ago, I had my first official date with my girlfriend at One Pico, and I wanted to propose to her on the beach outside and then enjoy a celebratory dinner at the same table where we first met. A special thanks to manager Owen Edson, who went above and beyond to reserve that exact table for us. To make a long story short, she said yes, and we ended up getting legally married on the beach there the following year. Beyond its sentimental value, the service and food at One Pico are outstanding. We always enjoy our visits and can't recommend One Pico and Shutters highly enough!

Servers were very attentive and knowledgeable however the food is kind of a mixed bag. We came with a relatively large group and so we were able to sample a lot of different dishes. Meat and seafood dishes were great. I actually like the concept of seasoning the meat simply with just salt and pepper and letting the quality of the meat shine. The vegetable dishes were truly spectacular but I would skip the pasta dishes. They were fine , but for the money you would expect something a little more elevated than just fine , and maybe this was just the night we were there but all of the pasta was undercooked, meaning not quite al dente, and it didn 't really matter which type it noodle was, they w...
