Andy's Drive-in - Carte

Stopped to get some ice cream on our way out of town. Mix of milk shakes, sundaes, and hand dipped. All were good, service was fast and friendly. We'd stop here again.

The restaurant was clean and tidy. The fried chicken was a bit too crispy and difficult to cut through. However, the coleslaw was delicious. I've heard they offer the best milkshakes in town, but I didn't get a chance to try any.

Food was good. Service was a little rough had one meal ?lost,? and couldn?t track down drink refills. Big issue for me is it is cash only and they don?t tell you this anywhere prior to trying to pay the bill. In the Covid era I never carry cash anymore. They have an ATM, but then you are stuck paying fees on a $20 tab. They need to get up to speed with cashless concept. Voir le carte

This place is a great find. Prices are really low and reasonable. However, it is cash ONLY. There is an ATM on site if needed. The servings are really large! We took leftovers back to our Airbnb each time we ate here. And be sure to save room for dessert, the ice cream is delicious! They have new menus, but their prices only increased around 45 cents. I've included photos of the new menus.

Step into 1962. This delightful place has been here since 1951. And it still has that flavor. The cheeseburgers are delicious, the fries are plentiful and the milkshakes are thick and handmade. A popular place that was full and yet the service was quick. NOT FAST FOOD but great food fast. Step back to 1960 and enjoy the atmosphere. Be sure to bring cash because they don’t take plastic, just like the 60’s. Breakfast until 11. They have very low prices since they are not paying credit card companies.

Out for a drive tonight and ran across this place. Let's check it out. Whether you're 7 or 70 i think this place will have something you’ll like. This has got to be where Winter Haven's George an Biff hung out in the 50s, I'm sure of this. If you ate here in 1955 you probably still do because it's great. I believe they specialize in ice cream but that was a great burger. Some interesting team work going on here serving the tables. I believe every server came by our table to make sure everything was ordered and asked if we needed anything. Mrs Picky had been wanting a country fried steak. Lucky her we stopped here. This place has always been fantastic when it comes to their shakes! It had been a few years since my last visit, but the family-friendly atmosphere and incredible food are still the same. My husband and I were so hungry that I forgot to take any photos! He ordered the fried oyster basket and said they were delicious. I enjoyed the BBQ pork sandwich basket with fries topped with chili cheese—it was amazing! I also had my all-time favorite strawberry banana shake, which I let my husband taste, and he loved it so much that he ordered the banana split shake for himself. He was in heaven! The google images did this place no justice but the reviews were exceptional so I gave it a try. Definitely would return if we're back in that area. Old school, small town diner like the ones you see in movies which is a huge change of pace from the places we have here in a bigger city. It had vintage decor, very retro in there. They may specialize in ice cream, but the burger I had was fantastic. The teamwork among the servers was impressive, too; it seemed like every staff member stopped by our table to ensure we had everything we needed. My partner, who is quite particular when it comes to food, had been craving chicken-fried steak. Fortunately for her, we chose this spot. She was eagerly anticipating her meal. Once we placed our order, the food arrived, but unfortunately, the chicken-fried steak came with brown gravy instead of white, as they had run out. So, she decided to order a burger instead.
