"Not from the area but decided to stop since it looked like a cute place and my child wanted ice cream. The minute we walked in, everyone just looked at us weird. Didn’t think much of it until it was time to order my kid Ice cream. The server just stared at us and when I smiled to greet she just looked at me with a stern serious face. Totally got the vibe she didn’t care for my brown skin. I didn’t mind the $14 for the ice cream and soda, but I definitely didn’t feel welcomed. Won’t be back."

"I always order the al carbon street tacos, and they are fantastic! They come with beans only, so I usually get a side of rice. I realize that's a common upselling strategy used by restaurants. The beans are tasty, but I've noticed they now contain a lot of pork fat. The dining area is clean, and the service is quick."

"I took my mom to Catalano's Pizzeria for her first visit to Cibolo during her holiday stay, and it was such a warm and welcoming experience! The staff greeted us with big smiles and cheerful hellos, setting the perfect tone for our lunch. We both enjoyed their Manicotti dish paired with their house red wine, a smooth cabernet sauvignon. I added chicken parmigiana to mine, while Mom went for meatballs—both were absolutely delicious and the portions were so generous we had leftovers to enjoy later. Plus, the free parking across the street made everything super convenient."
