Blackwood's Drive-in

Stopped here on a roadtrip from NC to CA. The food exceeded my expectations. I got a cheeseburger and hush puppies. The hush puppies are THE BEST in the whole state!

Not particularly pleased with my order. The chicken sandwich basket was the equivalent of fried toilet paper roll. No seasoning on the chicken or the fries. BORING AND TASTELESS.

Really great food and service! I absolutely love the Philly cheesesteak and corn nuggets/ The cheeseburger baskets are great too…The star of the show is the Cherry Lemon Sundrop ! Voir le carte

The food is always excellent! The curbside service is consistently impressive! My only issue is that they are aware of how busy they get, yet they need more phone lines to handle the volume. It's ridiculous to have to wait on the phone for 10 minutes.

Great food, got a cheeseburger with bacon, chili and slaw... amazing! My bf got the same and was very pleased, and fell in love with the Homemade Cherry Lemon Sundrop! Have to stay in car, though service was quick and staff was super nice, it would be nice if the outdoor dining area was open!

I ordered a burger basket, fries, and a drink. It was tasty, but the portions seem to have gotten smaller lately. I went back and noticed that the grilled chicken salad has now increased to $10.50, including tax, and comes in a half-size portion. Despite that, it's still the best in town! I don't have any major complaints. The food was tasty—just a burger and fries. The waitress was courteous and well-informed about the menu. I had anticipated dining inside, but it was closed due to COVID, which wasn't a big issue for me. I actually enjoyed sitting in my car. Overall, the experience was just as good as before. It's a nice option if you want a change from the larger fast-food chains. Nothing more, nothing less.

I ordered when I got there from my car,,The atmosphere was okay, The service was great. I ordered the cheeseburger with tater tots and a side order of onion rings and two sweet teas. The tea was the best part but it was just average tea. The cheeseburger was okay but the bottom bun was completely soggy, The tater tots was cold and mushy, And the onion rings were very hard, very cold and all of it was broken pieces. It's never been great but usually it's better than this I was hoping it would be good because my first choice down in front of Walmart was closed.

UPDATE.. I quickly made this my go to page for s fast bite and thought it was great. However, recently I've gone and they cut portions back to a few fries and the meat on the burger was thin and the flavor was not good quality. I know everything is going up including their process but price up and quality down isn't a good combo. Unfortunately i won't go back after my last 2 visits. The food was very good. With generous portions. I think 4 bucks for a medium drink with tax is astronomical, but the cheeseburger was very fairly priced and tasted great. The place definitely looks run down, but the food is worth it! I feel feeling oinky and the smaller burger with fries filled me up with some le... Voir le carte
