"We decided to grab a quick sushi lunch before heading back to the Bay Area. No 1 Kazuko is located right across the street from my hotel the San Gabriel Hilton on Valley Blvd. I made reservations and was seated right away. There is a QR code menu but we were handed a lunch menu which we ordered from. Deluxe Chirashi 4 stars nice fresh cuts of fish but nothing special that makes it deluxe. No 2 Bento 4 stars comes with grilled mackerel, tempura, sashimi and a salmon tuna poke salad. Nigiri sushi lunch 4 stars normal cuts of fish Service was good. Parking in the rear at the Del Mar Ranch 99 shopping center. If you sit at the booths near the sushi bar there is a TV."

"Love this location. We order from this BR often and once or twice we?ve had a cone missing from our order not a big deal, it happens. Last time we ordered, I made a note as a reminder for the cone. Not only did we get the cone, we even got a free small scoop of seasonal ice cream, plus a cute note (small note on left in picture ! THEN I ordered again tonight (added a tip for the awesome service last time , and with my ice cream I received another small note (large note on right in picture and this time with names! So thank you Sharon H and Dawn T for the awesome service notes!! :"

"Awesome place! Recommended to me by my old Band director at the local highschool. Vouched for the garlic fries (they use FRESH garlic, get ready for that BITE! If the photos actually uploaded in order, they are the buttermilk fried chicken, 3 meat bbq tray(brisket, pastrami, pulled pork w/ side of coleslaw mashed potatoes, poutine fries, 2 meat bbq tray (brisket pastrami w/ side of mashed potatoes mac, beer flight (bartenders choice , buck cherry, and lastly the bbq pork sliders. Also ordered pork ribs but forgot to take a photo. Great friendly service! Chill atmosphere, great place for food and drinks. Meat trays are definitely worth it. The pulled pork was a smidge dry though. The other selections were significantly more juicy. Should split this someone unless you plan on taking some home. Coleslaw had some spice to it. Very complimentary. Mashed potatoes needed an extra umph . Something like garlic or ever fresh pepper can bring it up a level. I 'm told the poutine fries were good from my friend that ordered them. Didn 't get a chance to try any as they demolished the plate! Must 've been good! Mac was great, definitely a solid choice! Can never go wrong with sliders! Their sauce definitely makes an improvement to everything. Drinks were great. Loved the pork ribs but everyone else thought they were dry. Maybe they got bad ribs because the ones I tried were pretty juicy(I ate them late too . It 's also possible that they might have just been expecting a saucey rib rather than a dry rub rib. The buttermilk chicken was decent, that garlic sauce definitely brought it up a level! Y 'all need a Nashville style one too! Overall a great experience and awesome food. Definitely a step up from the last time I came. Will be back for sure!"

"We were a party of 5 and checked in to the waitlist; the hostess ask if we wanted to break into two separate tables, and I asked would we be sitting together and she said not sure; I said prefer to wait and she seemed annoyed what’s the use of have dinner with family if we are separated). Overall the food looked pretty impressive but for me too much sauce on most sushi dishes which really took away from the actual items order; the ramen had way too much bean sprouts more than noodles) and similar either grill salmon, waaay too much onions; only item was the salmon sashimi which was excellent; also the waiter was friendly and courteous…no issues there"
