"This is my second time at this establishment. The first time our party of four had to wait around 30 minutes in order to get a table, but this day, we were ushered right in (we arrived around 9:45 am on a Saturday). We asked to be seated in Collin's section as he was great with us the last time we were there. Collin is a great addition to your team. This was my husband's first time here. He ordered the shrimp and grits. They were able to make it without adding sausage. He said was good, not great. I ordered the #1 most ordered item on the menu which is chicken and waffles. I omitted the strawberry butter and the spicy syrup. I also just ate dark meat, legs and thighs. It was all great, just like last time. I always walk out full which justifies the cost of many meals. I also ordered a OJ mimosa which was good as well. You will not be disappointed with whatever you decide to order here. Also, ask for Collin if he is working."

"The pizza at SHP was excellent. Our group of four tried a variety of slices and toppings and everyone was satisfied with the quality. As New Yorkers, we have found the pizza in this area to be disappointing, but SHP exceeded our expectations. The staff behind the counter were a bit inattentive, causing me to repeat my order a few times, but it didn't affect our overall experience. I would recommend improving the atmosphere a bit, although it didn't detract from our enjoyment. We will definitely be dining there again."

"This review is fully based on the fact that I 'm vegetarian and I can only review vegetarian items on the menu. I don 't think this place is a good restaurant for vegetarians. Lately many restaurants are offering adjusted versions of their meat dishes by removing the meat protein and adding vegetables or by offering as a vegetarian menu their sides. Side items doesn 't make a dish vegetarian. I ate the vegetarian arepa with grilled vegetables and there was nothing special about it. The vegetables lacked seasoning and flavor. The arepas were dry. My husband had vegetarian fajitas and they were just simple tortillas with grilled vegetables with no seasoning. The tostones were ok. The service was OK, all the employees seemed like they didn 't want to be there. Our waitress didn 't recognize many ingredients on the menu, and she didn 't know many what the dishes had on them. As vegetarian I wouldn 't recommend this place. I 'll not give it a second try because I know there is nothing in there for us. If you eat meat, you may want to give it a try. The other items looked good."

"Since I wanted a double-baked pizza, which would cost more, I opted for the second suggestion he offered: to cancel the incorrect pizza. However, before I could ask if I could at least purchase the correctly made pizza, the manager hung up on me rudely without a word. When I called back, he admitted he had hung up on me, claiming I was wasting his time. His demeanor was completely rude and unapologetic. Ultimately, my order was canceled, and my money was refunded. To the manager: it wasn't about the money for me; it was about getting my wife the pizza with the ingredients she wanted. I placed the order via the app, which didn’t allow for modifications as you mentioned, and only had space for special instructions, likely because it was a special order. Additionally, the app didn't show all the special pizzas available on your website. I was simply inquiring about the Italian pizza because it had the same ingredients as what I wanted, but without the extra charge. Please consider improving your app. Also, I found your behavior towards me to be quite disrespectful. And just to clarify, there is a significant difference between making a pizza and cooking it—please reflect on that. On a positive note, during my visit the previous Friday evening, one of your employees had my pizza ready for me, even though I arrived wearing a mask and hat, looking quite casual. I asked how he knew who I was and what I had ordered, especially with several other pickup orders around. He replied that I always order the same thing on Fridays—the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Pizza. I don’t know his name (he had young, curly blonde hair), but I really appreciated his attention to detail in recognizing a repeat customer."

"We hadn't been to The Melting Pot in a few years, and decided to celebrate a birthday there, and are we glad we did! Our waiter Luke was amazing, attentive, and very helpful. We walked (waddled) out of there very satisfied and satiated. We used to go into Charlotte for special occasions, but for the location, convenience, and experience there's no need to do that anymore. This location of The Melting Pot will be our go-to destination for celebrating special occasions, or just because we want something different, like drinks and dessert. Thank you for making a special day even more special Luke and staff!"
