We drive an hour and a half to get there and it is always good. The salad bar is excellent. On Fridays they have an excellent chili soup. The chicken is really yummy. The dessert bar is sooo good especially the brownies! I highly recommend trying this place.

Tried a little bit of everything on the buffet; good options on the salad bar; roast beef and fried chicken were our favorites off the buffet; even saved room for desserts so we could try those too and they were all good as well. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in town to try the breakfast buffet!

"I visited a nice small restaurant in Spencer, Iowa where I enjoyed a delicious Chinese meal. I was able to customize my plate with my favorite dishes. The only downside was that my soda had too much ice and was watered down. Overall, I left feeling full and satisfied with the experience. I highly recommend trying their Appetizer Platter, as the food, service, and atmosphere all received a 5-star rating. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10 for lunch."

"This was one of the most bizarre and surreal culinary experiences I had. It's been a few months since I was here last, just forget to write this review, so maybe something has changed since. I ordered three articles, burned ends, a Caesar salad and Cajun Pasta. None of them were good. The salad was a strange deconstruction that came as a bunch of whole romaine leaves instead of a real salad and was more like a starter you were expected to dive. The burned ends did not deserve the name, because they did not embody what someone thinks when they imagined the court. Instead of a grill dish with a beautiful caramelized barbeque sauce they had a strange honey sauce and the fat was not completely made so there were large pieces of it. It was also served with Naan bread for some reason, why not Texas Toast? Finally, the Cajun Pasta had a Bland sauce and the only Cajun flavor came from these bacon bits instead of being part of the sauce. I didn't finish it. None of them was worth what I paid for. Maybe. I am partly responsible for not getting the best rib in a restaurant named for it, but the prices on it were somewhat exaggerated compared to even chain places like Texas Roadhouse. The service was also bad with waiters to chat with each other or their friends. My advice? Do not try to reinvent the wheel, there is nothing wrong with a typical dish, as long as it is done well, especially if you alternative was a strange version made very bad."

"My brother in law, nephew, son and I took my husband to his 50. Birthday there and I had my daughter and son in the law show up to surprise her father. He was surprised. The staff was amazing and the food was great. We definitely go back and my daughter has found a restaurant that she will definitely go when she comes back/home for a visit. Our waitress was amazing and thank you for my nephew so we can all eat, they are all great there and very helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. U deserves more than 5, so I will say like 10x more."
