Chicken In A Barrel Bbq

A great place to stop for a meal on a Sunny day. We took ours back to our condo and had a great meal. We Recommend it!

The food in this establishment is delicious. We had the barbecue ribs with a side of macaroni. The servings are a good size and the ribs were very tasty. The staff is very friendly too. Great place for a quick stop for ribs. Voir le carte

Delicious! We got the sampler plate, with coleslaw, rice and a side of Mac. Hubby ate the Mac, the rest was gluten free including the bbq sauce. The chicken was my favorite. So flavorful without any sauce! Great pick for classic bbq where the smoke does the work!

Had the most delicious BBQ lunch at Chicken in a Barrel. The baby back ribs were so tender and the BBQ sauce was sweet and delicious. Also the chili was very flavorful and a great addition. It was so cool to see the meat smoker in action while we were eating outside under an umbrella for the shade.

Chicken in a Barrel never disappoints. I had it first time in Hanalei, Ching Young Village Shopping Centre. Today we visited a Kapaa branch. Again, Chicken was really smoky and meet was juicy and tender. I like their chili also, good kick of spice and their bbq sauce is yummy too. It’s a hidden gem. Voir le carte

This place has the most delicious, generous portion of meat. My gosh, when they say a quarter of a chicken, they mean it. Though it felt like half a chicken. The chicken was so tender, fall off the bone, flavourful... delicious. I had the chicken and a couple ribs, which were also fantastic. The men working here were pleasant and enjoyable to be around.

This is the best bbq spot on the island! It’s off the highway so easy access when you’re hungry!! Chicken was so juicy and moist and flavorful, had a chance to talk to the chef and he for sure takes his bbq-ing on another level! He puts so much time and love into the food, sides are also so yummy! Not your typical southerner taste but the flavor is still good! I definitely recommend this place and this place only, I had a chance to try the other location but this location is way way better!

This is the food I liked the least while on the island. There are a a couple of reasons. Firstly, I don’t need restaurants to shove their religion in my face by quoting scriptures on the box. The disrespect of someone to quote the Bible’s scripture where it says the ones who do not believe the close minded religion are apparently “condemned” is absolutely foul. Secondly, the food tasted like it was catering to a specific American crowd (if you know, you know). I didn’t come to the island to taste mainland flavors so it was a no go. Seasoning was a rare find here, in the chilli of all things was zero salt. Just beans and meat.. no thank you. Speaking of the chili, our box was a paper box that... Voir le carte
