Chuck's Steak House

Went on Mother's Day and even though it was busy out food arrived quickly and as ordered. We had a fantastic waitress and a nice time dining there.

Our server was excellent, the meals were delicious and their pastry chef went above and beyond to repair our wedding cake which had a little mishap. Love it here and will definitely be back.

Disappointed they did not have prime rib which is the reason we went. Two had burgers and one was over cooked. Soup was so hot that even after the entree came out it was still too hot to eat. Voir le carte

out of dinners were sent back. two baked stuffed haddock tasted aweful and we couldn't eat them and one burger tasted so bad our friend couldnt it his. never going there again. has really gone downhill over the years.

The restaurant appears to be faltering. It's dated, unimpressive with zippo ambiance. The service was less than than stellar (was served my wine after my dinner was half eaten). It was a Tuesday night and the place was dead. The food was not bad. Small portions with an optional salad bar. Value was poor however. Voir le carte

After you pass through the solid steel doors, we were welcomed and taken to our table. Greeted by Amanda who provided kind service and quickly brought us drinks and quickly removed used dishes and glasses. The buffet was excellent and the drinks very good. Chuck’s pomade for a nice family brunch on Mother’s Day.

Usually we enjoy Chucks but on this night they had a band. The music was played way too loud so we could not even have a conversation. The waitress had to many tables so was running around. We had chips and guacamole and a drink but then asked for the bill and went elsewhere for dinner. We were told by the waitress we weren't the only ones to leave because of band. I would not go back again on a night they have music.

The food was OK but not what we were expecting from a steak house. the mussels appetizers were just warm not served hot. We both ordered the oz prime rib but they couldn't supply one which was ordered rare. The best they could offer was medium. I would understand this if it were late in the service, but not at pm. Instead I got the rib eye rare, but it seemed to be extremely grainy. Yes I know that the nerves are part of the texture however this was more than usual. The open bar salad was not very good either.
