"I ordered the chicken curry and opted for the large size, which is when the issues began. The price was stated as $14.99, but I couldn't find any posted prices. When I asked for a menu, I was told it was available online; however, there was no mention of a large chicken curry or its pricing online, which left me feeling like I was charged a made-up price. Moreover, my large chicken curry came with only five red beans – and that’s not an exaggeration. It seemed like the chef was short on ingredients and used one can instead of the usual portion for a larger serving. The food was excessively spicy; while I enjoy my dishes extra spicy and often request more heat, this was over the top. Out of the 78 chicken curries I've tried around Atlanta, this was the most disappointing. In terms of portion size relative to the price, I felt it would have been more suitable in a pricier area, and overall, I felt taken advantage of. Additionally, I was surprised to find there were no plantains. Every Jamaican chicken curry I’ve ever had included at least two pieces, but this one had none at all. On a positive note, the restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the owner was meticulous about hygiene. I saw two separate water troughs for spoon storage, and he was careful to avoid cross-contamination. The professionalism and cleanliness were commendable, but there is still much to learn. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations and ranks as the worst I've encountered out of the 78 places I've tried."

The food is always excellent. However, I did find the large portion to be somewhat smaller than expected, as it contained only around 6 or 7 pieces of oxtail.

The Jamaican cuisine here is truly outstanding! Given the quality, the prices could easily be higher. It's very affordable, making it perfect for feeding the entire family.

I tried the brown stew chicken with rice and cabbage, and it was truly delicious! It was so good that I almost wanted to call back and ask if they were hiring just to learn the recipe! Wow! It was absolutely amazing! Everything was seasoned to perfection, and the portion sizes were quite generous. The food was prepared exceptionally well. Although the plantains were served cold, they were cooked perfectly, and just look at that portion size! Most places only offer two small slices for $4, but here you get a great serving. I will definitely be ordering from them again and can’t wait to explore more items on the menu!

This restaurant offers everything I could want in terms of flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, loaded with delicious mix-ins. The oxtail was tender and fell right off the bone, while the pepper steak practically melted in my mouth. The cabbage was a fantastic complement to the meal. And don't get me started on the patties – they were wonderfully flaky. It’s a great spot for lunch. Two large portions and six patties were enough to feed four hearty adults, with leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Edit: After reading some of the other reviews, I'm a bit puzzled.
