We absolutely love Commodore Bob's! We make it a point to dine there every time we visit Starkville, which is quite frequently.

I ordered the ribeye, my wife tried the ****, and her sister had the shrimp and grits. My ribeye was hands down the best cut of beef I’ve had in Starkville, and I’ve had some good ones here. Cynthia really enjoyed her **** as well. Phylis also mentioned that her dish was excellent. There was a significant delay in getting our food due to a kitchen issue, but the management handled it well by adjusting our bill. We will definitely be back and would recommend Commodore Bob’s!

I had the ribeye, my wife had the pork chop, and her sister ordered the shrimp and grits. The ribeye was the best cut of beef I’ve had in Starkville, and I’ve had quite a few! Cynthia thoroughly enjoyed her boar dish as well. Phylis also mentioned that her meal was excellent. We did experience a significant delay in receiving our food due to a kitchen issue, and I believe they should adjust our bill as a gesture of good customer service. Nonetheless, we will definitely return and highly recommend Commodore Bob’s!

Our first time to eat there. Overall a good experience but for 2 things. We had an 8:45 reservation after noting on the website that the kitchen closed at 9:30. The mgr ? called my cell at 845 as we were walking up to ask if we were coming and that they closed at 9! I found that rude confusing and a bit of a poor start. Also we ordered a bottle of wine that came to the table already opened with the cork sticking out of the top. Certainly makes one suspicious that the wine ordered was replaced with a cheaper variety.
