"Elana’s Restaurant 6-2-24 Stopped by Elana’s Restaurant for some breakfast. We heard a lot of good things about this place, and we wanted to try something different. We arrived around 8 am on a Sunday morning. They were busy but not packed. This place was large and clean with plenty of seating. As soon as we sat down our waiter Duli asked us what we wanted to drink. He brought us 2 decaf coffees right away which won him some points in my book for sure. We looked over the menu and I chose the 2 eggs sunny side up with Potatoes, Ham, and Rye toast. The wife chose 2 eggs sunny side up with Potatoes, Bacon, and Rye toast. We did not have to wait too long for our order to be delivered to our table. We got some refills on our coffee at the same time. My order was ok, but I thought the Ham was sliced a little thin and my potatoes were a little too well done for my liking. My wife thought her eggs were a little too well done for her taste but liked everything else. None of this was worth complaining to Duli about as it was just a matter of our personal preferences. Our coffee was ok, and the Rye toast was buttered and warm. Duli came by a couple times to make sure everything was ok and to refill our coffee. To me this breakfast was just average, and I was a little disappointed after hearing all the good things about this place. We wish we would have stopped for dinner, as we believe it may have been better and got a higher ranking. Our tab was around 30 dollars which we didn’t think was too bad. First time here , delicious food...but the daily specials which were hidden behind the cash register that you see when you pay at the end...waiter didn't mention...

This is a great spot for great food. Had the French dip with onion rings. Huge portion of beef on the bun, and great au jus. The onion rings were not soggy, fried just right.

We enjoy diners and Elena's is a lovely diner nestled in Punta Gorda Florida. Martha was our server and she was wonderful. Our food came in a reasonable time and was perfect temperature. We had liver and onions, rueben sandwich with delicious crispy french fries, and chicken enchiladas. 5 stars for this delicious restaurant.

Parking was already crowded at noon and no handicapped spots available. The bacon cheeseburger was overcooked, but the bacon was crispy. Just the way I liked it on the burger. Everything else seemed about average wife had a Gyro. He liked it fries were homemade and tasty. The staff was very friendly and even though they were busy, the waiter stopped by at least two times and asked if our meal was OK.
