"What to sayEvan’s is a local fixture in this area with the best informal dining and takeout food around. The staff here take your business VERY seriously and strive to keep you satisfied, with excellent food and service. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, and we never have trouble getting a table, but we’ve had several near misses! We always have a great meal here and they’ll make anything you want as long they have the ingredients for it. FANTASTIC BREAKFASTS, SANDWICHES, AND SOUPS. Great meal specials include entree and choice of soup or salad. Yes, Evan can still be seen in his legendary restaurant working tables and he is very friendly. Parking not so good, but not Evan’s fault. You may be able to find a spot in a nearby lot. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you will be glad you visited Evan’s. Excellent, excellent, and excellent!!!"

Wow wow wow… best Greek salad I have ever had (I’m Greek) and incredible service… gyros… hummus.. and make sure you ask to try their rice pudding! We have ordered here over a dozen times and love this meal each time we get it. This place is a class act!

The lamb and beef gyros as well as the chicken gyro at this restaurant are delicious and generously filled with meat. The baklava is also exceptional. I am looking forward to trying more dishes from their menu. The service is good and the Greek cuisine is fantastic! Voir le carte

This restaurant in the Matawan-Aberdeen area has the best food! It is family-owned and focuses on providing excellent service and a variety of delicious dishes made from pure ingredients. The staff is honest and friendly. The owner, Evan, is extremely helpful and has a great personality. I would give this restaurant more than 5 stars!

This place is tremendous. Excellent food. Big portions. First rate service. This is a friendly spot with a large menu. You can tell they get a lot of regulars, and the owners know the customers. It is as much a Greek restaurant as it is a Diner. I always do the chicken or beef gyro. Both are excellent. I absolutely love this place, and I will be coming back again and again.
