I really love Five-O; it has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, perfect for a more intimate yet friendly and lively setting. One of the owners served us, which was a nice touch, and both the oysters and chowder were excellent. I highly recommend this place! Voir le carte

We have been coming here for years and I am saddened to give this review. My husband and I came here for a getaway dinner and not only was our server abrupt, but the atmosphere has become colder as well. Everything seems dulled from the dirty silverwarewe were given, to the shortened menu, and mediocre offerings. We sadly will not be coming back on our next trip.

It's January and we came here on Friday, so it wasn't too crowded. It is a beautiful, cozy Italian restaurant. I had the Caesar salad and Bolognese. I loved the Bolognese absolutely because the pasta was thin and I think many places make it too thick. The salad was super cold and crispy. Our server was attentive and accommodating. It is a bit more expensive and upscale than the other restaurants in the area, but it is worth it.

We celebrated our anniversary there with a 7:30 reservation. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was fantastic—charming and humorous. We enjoyed the chicken breast served over risotto and a special cod dish, both of which were delicious. We paired our meal with a Cakebread Chardonnay. The tables have a lovely view of Shore Road and are separated by large windows hanging from the ceiling, allowing for a sense of privacy during our conversation. This is a lovely restaurant located in the heart of Ogunquit on Shore Road. For dinner, we enjoyed the beef ragu, steak frites, and a delicious, juicy burger, followed by blueberry panna cotta for dessert. We began our meal with lobster bisque, which was flavorful but a bit too salty for my liking. The Caesar salad featured crisp lettuce and crunchy croutons. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the beef ragu, topped with goat cheese, added a delightful tang. We had to share the dessert because we were so full from our meals, and you could tell it was freshly made.

Terrible, brief time there. Server was incredibly rude and brusk. When I tried to ask if something could be left off my order because of a food sensitivity, we were nails told, the chef won 't change anything . When I asked about the one dish I could eat(at 6:45 on a weeknight), I was then told they didn 't have that dish. This on a one page menu with not many options (which isfine) to begin with. We had to leave as I couldn 't eat any other options. Tried to talk to the manager twice (pleasantly left amessage, them called a few days later when I got no return call). I guess he couldn 't be bothered to talk to me.

Almost everything about our experience here was great. I had to do with shells and it was one of the best pasta dishes I had. The white wine sauce was perfectly balanced and delicious. They didn't drown the pasta in it. My wife had the chicken pipina, which was also very good. The children had the burger and disappeared. All deserts were also fantastic. I had the olive oil cake with apricots and again the balance was perfect. Not too sweet, not too hard. Delicious. The service was something on the slow side and the prices were a little high, but it is a tourist place so that both of them are to be expected.
