Gerald's Pig Shrimp

We had some of the best fried shrimp and hush puppies we have ever had. Cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and came by our table several times to make sure we were happy. We will definitely go back.

had the shrimp dinner for lunch today and it was delicious! garnel and side all hot and fresh. try the gurkensalat, really good. jenny took care of himself very well and was very friendly. was also there and was friendly. back to brisket!

we both garnel and pulled pigs. excellent, fresh garnel and Oh-so-tender pork! the true south green and gurkensalat were perfect. this is a small outdoor dining, with charming galore. if they want to sit and relax, they can’t be better than gerald’s. the toilets were also clean, always a plus. How did I forget to leave an evaluation?! 3 visits in 4 days! when booking our annual trip to tyrbee I am here tonight to see if there are any new ones need to try to add the restaurants last year and my thoughts brought me back directly to geralds! cold beer, great fresh food, great service. I do not doubt that we will be past the day at least to burden our demands!

After repetitive visits, we have never had a bad experience, even when there is high volume in the eatery. My daughter, who attends SCAD, introduced me and now every time we are in town we visit Gerald’s. My daughter lives locally and patronizes weekly. If only it was open 7 days a week, we would be there every single day! The owner and staff treats you like a long lost friend, never a stranger.

We went to Tybee Island for the day when visiting Savannah Ga. While we were there we ate lunch at here. It was delicious. The atmosphere was great. It had that beach open air feel. The restaurant is basically you see what you get with delicious beach food. Their Mango Hot Sauce was HOT but also has a delicious flavor. It was so good we bought some to bring home with us. We spent a relaxing Saturday at the beach and then decided to grab a late lunch at Gerald's. The outdoor setting was perfect for a fun day out with the kids. I tried the brisket and bleu panini, which was a delicious sandwich that I highly recommend. My partner had a cheeseburger and fries, while the girls shared a hot dog and fries. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, along with the great weather and live music. Gerald's is definitely a spot with good chill vibes.

No thanks!!! We did not even get to eat here. We arrived early and were turned away because they open at 11:30. We were just going to get a coffee next door. We came back and stepped out of our car at 11:26 and were told again “we don’t open until 11:30”. It was 11:26! Can we stand outside in the sun rather than sitting in our car?? Too many other options than a place with an angry waitress who was outside smoking a cigarette. Hope she was just having a bad day and isn’t like every day. If so, I’d suggest replacement.

Went to Gerald's Pig and Shrimp on Tybee island last weekend. Very busy. and like resteraunt, short handed. We were told it may be a longer than usual wait but said we could grab a table and the wait person offered us a drink while we waited. Sooner than expected the server took out ordered again apologizing for the wait. much quicker than had expected and done with a great attitude. I had the shrimp and my wife had oysters. Both of them were cooked to perfection! We would recommend Gerald to everyone for friendly service and excellent food. Also very cold beer! Voir le carte
