I spent two nights at the Quality Inn next door, which I do two to three times a year. I had dinner at the restaurant both nights. While the meals were good, they weren't as exceptional as I've experienced in the past. However, I gave them a 5-star rating because the customer service truly exceeded my expectations!

This fast food diner holds a special place in my memories. Our server, Lacy, was incredibly attentive and offered the best service we experienced during our week-long trip. In contrast to most other New England servers, who often avoided eye contact and didn’t refill our drinks (think "grab and go"), Lacy truly stood out.

I no longer live in Bangor, but I make an effort to visit this restaurant whenever I'm in town. I've been coming here for decades. They were among the first restaurants to allow peanut shells on the floor, although they’ve since stopped that practice. The interior has changed very little and remains clean and charming. It’s a fantastic spot to gather for a game or to celebrate an occasion. Many of the staff have been there for years! There’s a hostess who has worked there since I was a teenager (or at least very close to that). This really reflects well on the management. The drinks are strong, and the food is consistently good.
