While not having the best views on Leelanau, the atmosphere and wine are fantastic. There is also a bistro and an area with horses and goats. A very nice place to visit.

Few days ago, we had our private tour and testing. My wife and I,enjoy staff professionalism and quality. Very testy wine, we had our lunch at the Bistro. Fantastic time.

The customer service was terrible. After sitting at the bar for 10 minutes, I didn’t even receive a smile from the staff. I won't be returning, as there are plenty of other lovely wineries to choose from. Voir le carte

If you are in Suttons Bay MI go here for the pizza. This is one of the best wood fired pizzas I have ever had and trust me I am a pizza snob. The pizza sauce and the crust are to die for. They sell their wine at the pizza place also which was very good. A must visit for the pizza.

Loved the bed and breakfast. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. The room was gorgeous and loved the house. Definitely recommend a stay if you have the opportunity.The tasting is full of great options and always a must stop for me every time I am in Traverse City. The outdoor patio area has perfect for a nice day.

The drive to the winery is picturesque, with a stunning, cascading vineyard along the way. There were various activities happening nearby, and while there is a restaurant on the property, we didn’t dine there as we had already eaten. If you’re searching for a new winery to visit, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. When you order a flight of wine or bourbon, you’ll receive a keepsake glass to take home. First the good:The property is beautiful and the rooms look very nice.Now the bad:1) Fruit flies in the room. A lot of them. When we spoke to the manager, he said that there wasn't anything that they could do because there is a lot of fruit in the area. Really?? At $500.00 a night, you need to figure out a way to fix this problem, or at least warn your guests. We never would have stayed at the hotel if we knew that our room was going to be infested with bugs. 2) The hotel does not have any elevators and doesn't mention that on their website. A beautiful setting, good wine, and good snacks.My husband and I stopped at Black Star Farms on our way through to Traverse City. We were seated outside immediately on a Saturday around 4 PM. We each got a flight of wine they have so many great wines to choose from! and we also ordered a cheese dip crackers to split (perfect pairing for the wine! . We had a great experience up until we needed to get the check. No one ever stopped by at our table again, so we had to go up to the bar to ask. Then, we waited another 10 minutes before going back up to the bar to ask again and they sent us inside. This is a wonderful winery. The ambience and decor of the place is very classy, but comfortable. The service we received was very friendly and they were very helpful to any and all questions. We did not have any food there but the wine and beverages that we did have were really good! I would highly recommend doing the caramel apple mimosa. It is an apple flavored mimosa with caramel around the rim and it was delicious.The drive into the winery was scenic and you pass a wonderful, cascading Vineyard.
