"we reserved this place for a party of three we both, and my mother) to celebrate a special night. it was a prominent, so my mother wanted to champaign! otherwise no one drinks champaign in a German restaurant and brewery. so I will not judge the place by champaign. the champaign was operated by a mill, only an ordinary, cheap. we did not order an appetiser. my mother has an salate with salmon. That was fantastic. the heavenly poppy dressing was the key. I wish the salmon had been bigger. the laugh was not promising, in sections. otherwise the salate was fresh and the ingredients were all top. we ordered both our booklet on every German/Bavarian place carving. we both shared a single plate. the carving was fresh, hot and juicy dressed with a little mushroom engraving and fried wobble. can't be better! the sides were carrots and cauliflower. portionwise it was quite decent for two people. we love it. in dessert we have a black forest cake. it was good. the cake was moist and delicious. I love the way they decorated it. overall the service was a little slow. the server girl was nice. we sat inside, but there were also provisions for sitting outside."

Gives you German feel. They have variety of beers. Do try pretzels there. Brewery is cost efficient, call to check out for any live music.

Introduced my brother-in-law and his wife and daughter to the Hofbrauhaus. They thoroughly enjoyed it and want to go back and witness keg tapping next Tuesday. We had a great time.

The beer is excellent, the food is fantastic. It's a bit pricy, so be ready to spend a few extra dollars than normal, but it's well worth it. You can't go wrong with their traditional lager. Voir le carte

The Octoberfest Columbus kickoff event, along with the monthly keg tapping, was a wonderful experience with my eldest granddaughter. The company was great, the food was delicious, the entertainment was fantastic, and the service was excellent as always.

if they are looking for a pet-friendly restaurant, this is their place. the personal is great with animals and made sure that they had each their own bowl water. the food we ordered was delicious and they are generous with the size of the portion and next time when I am in the city, I make a stop here for lunch. this restaurant has won many awards for eating that they serve. great discovery, especially if they stay near courtyard marriott. While it is concentrated mainly on meat dishes (German cuisine), it has vegetarian menu and large salmon dishes. this time I went easy with vegetarian burger. only to place cream puffs (they offer 3 selection of cream.) German music, many selection of beer and large service zoe was great with suggestions and timing!

Solo traveler here. Its a popular spot so expect to spend some time waiting if you dont have a reservation. I was able to sit directly at the bar instead of waiting 30-40 mins for a table on a Saturday evening. I heard mixed reviews about the food so I was hesitant but I ordered the hot brown and it was so delicious. Their March seasonal beer Mrzen was so great, and the Hefe Weizen wasnt so strong on the banana flavor as one other review had mentioned. It also paired so perfectly with the cream puff. Did I mention they have live entertainment and free wifi..?? Great place to stop by if youre in the area. Would visit again!

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
