Kickin Seafood Cajun Style

For a Cajun-style seafood restaurant in Utah, I would say it's quite good. The prices are reasonable, and the spices are fantastic. The service was excellent, and the waiter was impressive.

We're both coming back. My husband and I ordered an appetizer fried shrimps, the fried fish-po-boy sandwich for me and the #1 combo for him. Sooo goood .. we will definitely try other things again!! Our server Bailey was great and super nice. Oh and the peach boba I had been mmmm really delicious!!

This restaurant is tidy and well-maintained. The service is excellent, and the seafood is outstanding. The prices are more affordable, and the portions seem to be larger compared to other Cajun seafood spots in the city. The food and service at this restaurant match its uninviting exterior. It requires significant improvements. The prices are far too high for the quality of the food, and the service leaves much to be desired. You can see it’s a family-run business, and you want to see them succeed, but they have a long way to go. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. Food rating: 2/5.

I ordered grub hub delivery, came very promptly, Butt!! Ordered fried oysters,rec raw on half shell. 90 mins later still hasn’t brought correct order. No utensils, corn shriveled, I knocked over gumbo, it wasn’t good. I was mad about mess but not cause it was a loss. Hopefully I get full credit from Grubhub because I gave up and ordered elsewhere.Kid-friendliness: They apparently aren’t real concerned about making order right.

The service was excellent, but the crab was not good. Unfortunately, it had spoiled, but thankfully, they removed it from my bill without any hassle. As soon as I cracked it open, I could see it didn’t look right. I decided to give it a try anyway, but once I tasted it, I had to spit it out because it was clearly spoiled. If you're a fan of overpriced mediocre food, this is the spot for you. Save your money! We ordered the seafood boil, which was seriously lacking in flavor. While it had some spice, it missed the classic Cajun flavors that you would typically expect from a good boil. The shrimp was overcooked and chewy, and the clams were dirty. We managed to eat about a quarter of it before giving up and heading to another restaurant. We've been to Hook and Reel just up the street, and it was significantly better (just a bit more expensive, but totally worth it).

The food was mediocre, the service was HORRID, and the restaurant was dead so there was no excuse for either.We went on a Friday night at 7pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant to start, and it took the waiter 10 minutes to even come greet us.Appetizers came out quick, but the entrees took 30+ minutes to arrive.We were checked on once during the whole visit, while we watched the staff sit on there phones doing nothing.When we asked for the check it took 25 minutes to get to us, while again, there was numerous employees sitting around doing nothing.Worst service I’ve ever received in my life. Will not be returning to this location.

However, the waitress was very polite, which was a pleasant surprise, as I had anticipated someone more typical of a casual restaurant atmosphere. Once I tried the food, it arrived hot and ready to eat, with rice served as a side. I have a few suggestions for improvement. The interior lacks Cajun decor or Southern flair, which would have enriched the experience. Using parchment paper on the tables could help keep dishes hot, rather than serving them on a heat-resistant tray.
