We went for mother's day dinner, our waiter was fantastic friendly great with our kids, handled everything with such confidence, knew everything on the menu and got everyone's order right,

Unique place, the building was built around 1683 each room has its own charm. Then, there's sitting outside overlooking the river. The stuff shrimp wrapped in bacon appetizer I could have made it my meal so good.

The only downside was that unfortunately we were sitting next to a very loud, giggling loudly inebriated customers (the 2 women were really drunk) and that kind of spoiled what otherwise would have been a lovely dinner experience.

This was one of the best meals I have had. The salmon was crisp and delicious and cooked perfectly. The wings were the best we ever had. The s’mores brownie was to die for and a must have. The server was on top of everything and so friendly. The food was out quick and cleaned up promptly. I would definitely recommend!!

The food was excellent, and the service was top notch. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Bruce). He was very hands on, talking with each of the patrons. Great views of the river made our experience even better. We had the Filet Mignon, which was cooked to perfection. I would also suggest the Key Lime Tarte for dessert. First time at this restaurant, made reservations online, which was very easy to do. Check in was quick and easy, waitress and host very nice and friendly, food was amazing, atmosphere was very nice. My table had a good view of the waterfront, which was nice and made the dining experience better. I definitely recommend King George II Inn, over all experience was amazing, definitely will be coming back soon.

Had lunch with my wife, 2 brothers and their S/O. Table was fine as it was on the 2nd floor and overlooked the river. But the drinks were very slow to come out, salads were blah and not correct (missing grilled shrimp), my crab Benedict was cold and the eggs weee overcooked and the wings were chewy and the sauce was just poured over them. This was my second time there within the year and both experiences were poor. There are too many other options in the area so needless to say, I'm over dining there.

Super cute restaurant with character and a nice view of the river (can eat inside or out). The best parts of the meal was the service by Denise, the piano player playing some throwbacks, the sourdough bread appetizer, and the George salad. Everything else was okay but nothing special. We got their appetizer and meal specials in mussels and stuffed sole. The mussels were good but we were disappointed in the sauce which tasted like it was cheap jarred sauce. The sole and the French dip were just okay, and we closed with the rice pudding that was just too sweet and gummy. We will go back and try some other items with a refined expectation. Voir le carte
