To food is good, authenticate. For now, best tasting south Indian food in town, hope they maintain it.

Food are fresh and sufficient. Confirm before you order for add on items. Book the table at 2 days ahead.

The food at Kumar's was excellent. It was like I was eating at a non-veg restaurant in Chennai. It was quite crowded as we had expected. Yet the service was quite good. Enjoyed it quite a bit.

Food good,service needs improvement.None bothered to ask if everything was ok or if anything needed,had to look around and wait for someone to help.Longer wait for to go boxes,that day it wasn't crowded either.Rest always nice.

Kumar's mess is a place for people with love for food. Its not just the dishes they offer, but focus towards delivering to its customers. A simple thought of offering dishes to the table rather than buffet style, highlights the real gratitude offered to its consumers. Voir le carte

Was a great experience. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a friends birthday, so we had a cake to cut and they set it up and brought it to the table with candles, plates and napkins. The food was excellent too, enjoyed the various curies. I wish there was more vegetable sides.

The food is good for the price, but we found it difficult to try many different dishes and couldn't finish everything we ordered. Offering smaller portions for the side entrees would allow customers to sample a variety of dishes without having to order a large number. Typically, it's just one or two standout dishes that encourage people to return, so it's essential to make sure those dishes are truly exceptional.

This was my first time I experienced such a poor service at Kumar's. Not sure if it was because the waiters were new and under training. We were served rice and had to wait atleast 5-6 mins before curry was served. And this happened thrice on the same lunch!!! On the third occasion, we were served rice and the waiter went back to get curries. But after 3-4 mins, he came back with the plate of appalams; and then he had to go back again to get the curries. This time, my patience was tested and I had to shout at him. I do understand that Sunday afternoons are terribly busy at Kumar's, but this kind of service was totally unacceptable!
