La Madeleine - Carte

It was a business meeting and I enjoyed the simple menu. I may have ordered desert. There was no Mineral water but I made due.

I absolutely love this restaurant, and my kids are huge fans of the chicken Madeline. As for me, I always order the chicken cranberry pecan salad, and it's fantastic!

Place is gross. Several tables were dirty. One section, the floor is legit falling apart and it's just left like a mess. Big eye sore. Employees all seem super unhappy and unwelcoming. Just a very dark place with no energy or happiness. Food was below average with a higher end price. Voir le carte

The place has potential to be charming, but the staff clearly lacks concern for their customers. When I visited for breakfast, the espresso machine was out of order, and the food felt barely better than microwave meals from Starbucks. They really need to revamp their service strategy to improve. I won't be returning.

Y’all..I have eaten at a couple of of different locations in Houston and I have NEVER been disappointed…but y’all…this Coconut cake..smh! I couldn’t take a pic because I INHALED it so fast but it is the best coconut cake I’ve had, store bought or homemade….their food all around is soo good so if you haven’t had the chance to check them out..pls do!

Will not be ordering from La Madeleine ever again. I had a seasonal spinach salad with feta, walnuts. After eating all the salad, at the very bottom between the walnuts was a winged bug, who know how many bugs i ate, since I was working and eating. I immediately threw up. Absolutely disgusting and disappointed. The quiche lorraine that I started eating was also thrown in the trash. Voir le carte

I've eaten at various places in Houston, and I've always been satisfied. However, I need to highlight the Coconut cake… wow! I couldn’t even snap a photo because I finished it so fast! It's honestly the best coconut cake I've ever tasted, whether from a store or made at home. Overall, their food is incredible, so if you haven't had the opportunity to check them out yet, I highly recommend that you do!

The service was friendly, the establishment was clean, and they offered a well-stocked selection of personal items like to-go containers, a small jelly bar, complimentary bread, and everything needed for dining in or taking out. I ordered a chicken salad croissant and a Caesar salad, both of which were delicious. The staff was attentive and efficient in clearing tables and assisting customers. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant.

I really enjoy visiting this place during the colder months, where I can savor a hot meal or coffee by the fireplace. There's no other spot that feels quite as cozy as this one. While some of the food can occasionally taste a bit like cardboard—like the broccoli, which could be fresher—today's creamy pesto pasta with salmon fillet was absolutely delightful. The pastries are freshly made and always a treat. I also appreciate the concept of the bread station. The overall atmosphere is charming and lovely. Voir le carte
