"We were disappointed to discover that Passion Fish was no longer serving fried flounder. In all the years we have been regular customers, they have always had it available. I decided to try the crab cake, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. My husband ordered the Bronzino with tamarind sauce and hot chilis, similar to what comes with the fried flounder, and he enjoyed it. Our waitress was friendly, but the service was slow considering the limited number of tables occupied that evening. The fried flounder holds a special place in my heart, so we will definitely return. However, I will call ahead before making a reservation next time to ensure they have the flounder in stock."

"stopped in at Bombay Velvet having made an Open Table reservation for dinner en route to Dulles Airport to pick up our daughter that's all by way of saying we were thinking of a good one course meal to have instead, due to the holiday season, the restaurant only had a five course prix fixe at $85 more food and more money than we were anticipating it should have been more clearly stated on Open Table or at the very least by the hostess before seating us. It was a bit awkward as we had already ordered drinks and didn't feel we could just walk out once it was clear there was no a la carte option. Having said that, the food was absolutely delicious, and I would most definitely return happy to do the prix fixe if I would choose to do it in advance, but also excited to explore an a la carte menu. Bombay Velvet is elevated Indian and I look forward to a next opportunity. (BTW fabulous vegetarian choices)"

"I've been to Lucia's multiple times. I live right up the street, so when I'm craving Italian or a sub I come here. They have a sub lunch special that the price is pretty good. The fries are amazing! I normally do not like french fries, so the only other place that I eat fries is Five Guys. I've had two different pastas, and they were both good, but they are on the pricey side. I've had pizza once, and I wasn't a fan. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't a flavor palette I wanted/enjoyed. On the cold sub with prosciutto, cheese, and roasted peppers, the peppers overpower the flavor of everything else. It sounds good on paper, but the actual sub isn't as great only because all I could taste was peppers. Overall, I highly recommend Lucia's. It is a little pricey if you don't get their specials, but I would rather support local restaurants over big chains any day. Also, their desserts are great, and you can order them to go. The cannoli is amazing!"

"First time and it won’t be our last! Zefferellis came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. We were warmly greeted upon entering and sat promptly. Our waitress immediately came over to greet us and presented us with our menus, brought us bread and water, and explained the specials. We ordered wine, and ordered our food; we had their calamari and zucchini frite, lightly battered and fried to perfection, the sauce was a slightly spiced marinara sauce that was extremely delicious. For our entrees my wife ordered the linguine with white clam sauce, her pasta was al dente and the sauce was great with a good amount of clams in and out of the shell. I ordered the Cleopatra special, linguine with a spicy pink sauce, with mussels, scallops, shrimp and lobster tail; when it came out I was amazed at the amount of seafood that was on the plate! The plate was lined with mussels, there were three large shrimp and three large scallops, and to top it off the lobster tail was a 6-8 oz tail tender and sweet. It was our anniversary celebration so the waitress brought out a plate with “Happy Anniversary” on it with a pannacotta dessert topped with a berry compote, it was delicious. I highly recommend Zefferellis !!!"

"Outstanding Italian fare in the heart of Reston Town Center. Started off at the bar for some seasonal cocktails before our dinner reservation. Full menu is available at the bar, along with Happy Hour specials. Had the short ribs on a bed of heirloom veggies and mashed potatoes delicious comfort food that paired excellently with the Chianti. My +1 had the pasta version of the short rib dish and said it was excellent as well. Perfect amount of interaction with our waiter who had helpful recommendations on wine pairings. Dessert with coffee was a nice end to the meet. The manager, Sanjay, came around during the meal to check on us. He was lovely and his visit actually accentuated the overall experience. Highly recommend a visit and making a reservation to ensure the best experience. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back! Parking: Parked in front of the restaurant using the RTC parking app. Plenty of garage parking nearby."
