"Wow, the Bulgogi Beef Kimbap was really good, but I was quite disappointed with the Tteokbokki. I paid $20 for it, and it was just rice cakes—no veggies or meat. I usually order it from different Korean restaurants, but they don't open until 5 PM, so I decided to try this place. I'm a bit shocked, to be honest!"

"My boyfriend and I really enjoy the bentos at this restaurant, and we often order O2 Valley. The #K3 Grilled Taiwanese Sausage is the best I have tried in the area. However, the #H1 Cold Noodle with Sesame Sauce is terrible, and it is outrageous that they charge $16 for it. This is why I am deducting a star from my review."

"Not sure where to start on this review, overall it was a disappointing experience. We were super excited to have afternoon tea, my daughter wants to go to England on our next trip. Let's start with the tea: we chose earl gray, black with peach and peppermint. The best was the earl gray however they refill your tea (add water to the pot) and none of the teas even got half the flavor as the first round. One thing I am going to disagree with on most other reviews is theluxury upgrade was worth it, the sliders were amazing. The rest of the snacks were overall a let down. The sandwiches were smoked salmon and ham/cheese and the bread was quite dry especially towards the edges. It would have been great tostart with a lighter, fresher sandwich (cucumber for example) as overall the food was heavy. The scones were good but nothing special. The pastries were the best of the experience but none that I would make a trip over for. Lots ofpotential but not worth the cost."

"I made a reservation with open table for PM. I had to leave by PM to go somewhere else. We arrived and check in at PM, the host told us we would be seated in minutes and confirmed that we want to sit inside as we had written on the reservation. We waited for minutes and then went back inside at the correct time of the reservation. The response from the host was to wait minutes more. We then sat outside and waited, when the host finally came out it was PM and he began to walk us to the outside area, to which we said we had requested inside (and had discussed in person with the host at The host told us it would be more minutes. By the time we got to sit down to a table we had already been at the restaurant for minutes! The host ended up seating us outside at PM and I had to leave by PM. By the time we began ordering it was already All in all I think that the reservation was not taken seriously which is a huge defect in how this restaurant is ran. We told the server that we were in a rush and he was able to get us in and out by although we avoided ordering certain items that we knew would take longer."

"They recently changed their hours, so now they only stay open until 8 PM. This is quite strange, especially since it's summer, the movie theater in El Paseo is much busier following the closure of the AMC theater in Vallco, and it’s not even dark yet at that time. I really think they’re missing out on a lot of potential business. Additionally, they've added a code to the bathroom door, which makes me wonder if they were having issues with non-customers using it previously. It’s hard to say. What I do know is that during my brief visit, everyone who was given the code had difficulty opening the door because it included a special character at the end of a long string of numbers that nobody could remember. On a brighter note, they serve delicious coffee and pastries, and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. The strawberry pop tart had a lovely pastry crust that seemed to have been brushed with egg white to give it a nice sheen. The filling tasted *exactly* like Smucker's strawberry jelly… In fact, I suspect it might have actually been Smucker's! Whether that’s a good or bad thing is up to personal taste. However, I found it odd that while they offer several unusual ingredients for unique drinks, like turmeric and ginger for golden drinks, their selection of more standard flavored syrups is extremely limited. There’s no raspberry, no strawberry, and no other berry flavors—just chocolate, honey, coconut, and of course, turmeric. Their golden drinks have more of a winter flavor profile anyway, which is probably why they’re not currently on the menu. They have no specials at the moment (though they mentioned they can still make the turmeric drinks), zero fruit flavors, and a very limited selection of syrups. Come on, guys! Don’t rest on your laurels. What are you doing to stay competitive? Be sure to grab your turmeric latte before 8 PM!"
