"Gran Plaza never fails to impress. Every time we visit, we feel truly valued. The service is exceptional—they consistently go above and beyond to make each experience memorable. I always try something new from the menu, and I'm delighted by a completely different flavor profile each time. It’s at the point where I just want to drop in and see what happens. Tonight, we indulged in deep-fried ice cream for dessert, and it was fantastic. If you haven't been yet, make sure to go. And if you’re a regular, visit more often! This place is amazing in the best way possible. When you come here, you'll feel like family. They really take care of us. Five stars and a blue ribbon for Gran Plaza, one of the best in Northfield!"

"We had a late lunch on Saturday with my son, who is from Carleton. After hearing positive feedback from friends, we decided to try out Tokyo Grill. Our group of four all agreed on a solid five-star rating. Don't let the restaurant's location on the main street fool you; it's truly a fantastic dining spot. We started with perfectly salted edamame and a spicy dipping sauce. Most of us chose the Bento boxes, which provided a generous serving of delicious food. The sushi was excellent too, along with a variety of other options on the menu. The service was exceptional. Honestly, this has become my top pick for lunch!"

"Skimping on the gravy and then charger me to take enough to eat at home; learned it was due to new ownership. Big city small town takeover. $18 dollars for a basic Sysco plate Such a disappointment to see the business sold to an owner who will detract from the local community. The 800+ reviews here on Google result from the previous ownership so dont let it fool you into thinking it's the same restaurant. Dietary restrictions: Dont go here unless you want to be disappointed."

"the special was excellent meat (short ripening? and root vegetables. the smorgasbord could have used a few cracker or brot, a cracker and a small piece of brot a piece that is not close to the use of the spreads that needs something underneath. the panisse was mild for Scandinavia, I guess I would have liked more. these are very picky things, everything was wonderful. the service was excellent, and the reason we would choose it over a comparable restaurant."

"First of all, I would like you to know this review is based on many times here probably close to 20 visits all the way back to the grand opening and usually with a small group of friends. Review doesn't have much to do with the food. The few times I've sampled anything it's been adequate. It has to do mostly with the service and attitude. The only time I actually thought it was fun was the Grand Opening. Almost every other time we all left the place in disappointment. The only brewery I can think of that always has a somewhat uneasy, unhelpful, ungrateful vibe from almost all of the employees throughout the years. It's almost like your inconveniencing them by coming to the establishment. I have come to believe this must be instilled from ownership? The thing is the group of us always agree that it is a very strange and unappealing vibe. It is very unfortunate as it is a super cool building and the town of Northfield deserves so much better! I could go on and on with each experience, but have to think when the majority of the people I've ever gone there with agrees, totally making me feel that it isn't just me. I've typically been able to find an average to above average beer, and that isn't the problem. If you're looking for a fun, happy appealing vibe, my suggestion would be to avoid this place at all cost. As I know I will be."
