"My wife and I used to absolutely love this place. We lived at the apartments right behind it and would order take out at least one a week. I'm not sure what has happened there in the last few months but the quality has dropped all around. Not only is the food not as good as it used to be, but today my wife ordered a Chicken fried rice and received a shrimp fried rice instead even after having a conversation with the individual taking the order about whether the egg rolls have shrimp since she hates shrimp and all of the places around here have switched to using it for some reason and this is like the third time in a row something has been wrong with the order. I'm leaving two stars because it is still a good deal, but I hope they get their act together by the time we are willing to try again in a couple of months..."

Great restaurant! The food is quick and convenient, and I usually opt for take-out.

I really enjoyed the Singapore noodles, and I loved the broccoli and shrimp—they were the perfect combination! Voir le carte

This is the only place we choose for Chinese takeout. We've tried several options in the area, but this one is the best. Food: 5/5

I had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling. The food was some of the best I've had in a long time! I would give it a perfect rating of 5/5.

This restaurant offers excellent rice noodles and a great selection of lunch specials. They are always quick with your orders and provide local delivery, so you can avoid the extra charges from meal delivery apps. I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for takeout Chinese. Food rating: 4/5. Voir le carte

The food is AWFUL ?. I've lived in this area for 25 years. This place changed ownership and it has been the worst ever since. None of the food ever tastes good. It's never a hit-or-miss. It's always a miss. They can't even do wonton soup or fry an egg roll. I used to eat here all the time and I can honestly say that I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever eat at this place again in my life. NOTHING is good at this place.

My favorite dish is the Chow Foon rice noodles, either in Taiwan or Singapore style. The spring egg rolls are also a fantastic deal at just $1.50 each. While I think the Pad Thai could use some improvement, my least favorite is the curry chicken. I would love to see a Thai curry option on the menu, maybe a Phanaeng curry. Overall, while it may not be the best Chinese restaurant out there, it definitely deserves a five-star rating for its large portions, clean and delicious food, and consistently hot and fresh meals. Plus, the delivery service is top-notch and reliable, all at a fantastic price. The value is 100%!

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."

"My friends and I went to Cheesetique for restaurant week. We sat outside. The space was great, the weather was great. Upon arrival, it took a server about 15 minutes to come to our table, and that was only after a friend went inside to ask for someone to service us. The server who had served our friends, who had arrived 10 minutes prior, was bartending. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The drinks came out relatively soon after. The food took a normal amount of time to come out of the kitchen. We got the watermelon, quinoa salad and truffle balls as apps. There was no dressing with the salad, just spinach leaves, watermelon, and quinoa. It was very basic. The truffle balls, although good, were balls of cheese. They gave huge cheese balls but only 3 tiny pieces of bread. We ordered a Mac and cheese for the table which was not salted very well at all. For the main course, we ordered gnocchi, pot pie, and braised beef. The beef and mashed potatoes were the best. The pot poe and gnocchi were not nearly salted enough. All the food came out 'warm ' at best. Dessert was fine. Overall, not at all worth the amount we paid for restaurant week. We were left disappointed. The service was slow. I do understand they might have been short staffed, but even waitresses who were not our servers looked as us, after being there for 15 min and walked past. We asked someone to get us water, which was never brought to us, so overall, disappointed in our dining experience, considering how much we paid."
