"The curry noodles with tofu are to absolutely DIE for. Like literally. I would die for them. I would die just for the change to taste them and then when someone brings the noodles out I would simply come back to life because that's how strong my urge to eat them is. Perfectly creamy. Nice, harmonious combination of all the good spices. Amazingly browned and flavorful tofu with the most perfect crispy-outside-but-soft-and-fluffy-inside texture that has soaked up the sauce through every possible nook and cranny. And huge portions too, at that. It is a very small place with an equally small body of staff, so I recommend getting here early during peak lunch/dinner hours, no matter whether you're planning to dine in or just get takeout. I wish I could become an apprentice here just to learn how to make the noodles. Seriously."

"Very bad experience. We came in at 730 or so today and were incredibly disappointed with the service. It felt like we were entirely isolated and had no service unless we signaled someone or got up out of our table to ask waiter to take our order or provide silverware (the most basic aspect of the service industry). Service needs to be improved as our waiter was more focused on his phone than the actual customers. Food and Drinks The chai had spoiled milk in it and therefore was terrible. This was confirmed by the chef once she tasted. No apologies or anything other than telling us the chai sits all day outside. Do not get it if you go in late for a dinner. Food was decent nothing amazing for authentic taste. Momos were the only highlight for me. Due to our poor service we had to wait for our food and extra bread for thali."

"This place was recommended to me, so the next time we visited Madison we really wanted to check this place out. We decided to stop in on a Saturday for lunch. We were greeted promptly and shown to a table right away. For a weekend, it was kind of busy but not super busy, which was nice because we were really looking forward to enjoying some Sichuan food. We ordered the Spicy String Beans (very well-seasoned and tasty), the Shredded Potatoes with Spicy Sour Sauce (a bit heavy handed with the vinegar but cooked perfectly), and the Spicy Crispy Chicken (very crispy and not too spicy). Overall, for a Sichuan restaurant, their spice level was actually on the milder side. I would have preferred a bit more kick in their dishes but other than that all the dishes we ordered were delicious and hit the spot. Service was casual but friendly, and our food came out only a few minutes after we ordered. We were pleasantly surprised by how fast our food arrived because we were hungry and ready to eat. They don't have their own parking, so you will need to resort to finding street parking. Would gladly come back again."

"I have been going to Red for several years now, and the sushi (nigiri and rolls) and service are always top-notch. My only complaint is it's better to eat outside because inside they play awful club music that is too loud in a very echoy interior, and it completely ruins the vibe and eliminates a nice, quiet or even romantic atmosphere. It's almost anxiety inducing. I really wish they would change it as it's a major turn-off for dining inside. I do highly recommend their Suntory Toki Old Fashioned. It's one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Its. Immaculately crafted and blended using the wonderful Bittercube bitters. As someone who lived in Japan for a couple of years and ate a lot of sushi, this is easily one of, if not the best, sushi places in Wisconsin. It's just too bad they don't care to make a nicer atmosphere inside the actual restaurant, or else I would visit more often than just in the summer when you can dine outside. (5 atmosphere outside, 1.5 inside)"
