Serendipity Cafe And

I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed. It looked like the more casual, bar area was fun and had better food.

The steak was caked in butter and not in a good way and the mojitos tasted like syrup. Never dinning in at their steakhouse again.

The steaks were too salty, and the vegetables were served cold. Disappointing for the prices, we were hoping for a great steakhouse meal. Voir le carte

Not impressed with service or quality of Steak house. Bar area service and ambiance was great. Willing to go back and try the Cafe side next time.

When we arrived, they were initially unaware of our reservation, but they quickly resolved the issue. Our server was attentive, and the food was delicious and served hot. However, I felt that the side dishes were a bit on the expensive side.

We have eaten breakfast at serendipity in the past. My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary. We were impressed with their aging process for their cuts of beef displayed at the restaurant. I ordered the filet mignon. With a side order of grilled Brussel sprouts. Excellent cut of beef. Seasoning is heavier than I am accustomed to on a cut of meat. The service was good. First time there. Sat in the bar area for Happy Hour with 3 friends. Veronica took wonderful care of us doing double duty between the tables and bar, but we never felt neglected. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. I would absolutely try the regular dining side based on the quality in the bar. We shared the tempura avocado, fried zucchini, hot wings (and a second order since they were so good) and a few other items. At the time of this writing, Happy Hour beers were $3 and well drinks were $5 amazing deal. Probably returning this coming Friday.

We always enjoy delicious food at this restaurant. We visited on New Year's Eve for dinner at 7 PM with some friends, and overall, everything was fantastic, except for the noise level. They had a DJ playing on the dining side, which was fine, but the music was incredibly loud and not suitable for a dining atmosphere. I understand it's New Year's Eve, but the party music could have started a bit later, after families had finished their meals. The only other drawback was the limited bar menu, and no wine was available initially. Afterward, we moved to our table on the dining side. The food was good, though not outstanding and a bit overpriced. Our friends ordered sweet carrots as a side dish, but it turned out the kitchen accidentally used salt instead of sugar. How does that even happen? Additionally, our server did not check on us throughout the meal; we had to call the manager from across the room. The restaurant was not busy at all, with only three tables occupied during dinner. We decided to split a pork chop, but our server claimed it couldn't be done in the kitchen because it was "too hard." I managed to split it easily at our table—what was their excuse?
