Steak 'n Shake - Carte

Place was dirty. Floors were dirty and tables. It is NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM of how the old steak n shake was. Eliminating the waitresses and just having a screen to order from ruined it. I will go anywhere else to eat before I go back here.

Absolutely wonderful place. Great value for the price. Picture is a Western Bacon burger. Had a bowl of chili that was mostly soupy, and it looked a bit understaffed, but was still timely. Definitely would recommend. Ashliy was phenomenal.

I love steak and shake chili. I get it almost every time.... It's where I learned about what a beat Nik is...... They were old school burnouts during the early 40s....I asked from the pictures on the wall...,I love there burgers...I wish they still had roller skater waitresses Voir le carte

I was here today and ordered a Frisco court that they put a whole lot of sauce on it. I called them and asked if they could give me credit, and the manager was very rude and said they didn't do that I had to put my sandwich and they would give me another. they will never get my business again

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. They require customers to order at a kiosk, which is already inconvenient. There was only one kiosk that accepted cash, but it wasn’t plugged in, so I couldn't place my order. When we arrived less than two hours after opening, the staff was just sitting at a table and didn’t even greet us as we walked in.

My husband and I dined at Steak n Shake tonight, and we were fortunate to be served by a wonderful lady named Sam. There was a small mix-up with our order, but she handled it perfectly and even came out to check that everything was satisfactory. It's becoming rare to encounter such dedicated employees. I could definitely get used to the new kiosk system, as I really like the indoor ambiance, especially for larger groups. However, the staff needs to pay more attention to cleaning the drink counter, wiping down tables, and making sure the floor isn't sticky (it looked fine, but our shoes made a sticking sound). We tipped at the 20 percent level, but I might think twice about that the next time.

We just spent almost $30 on 3 meals to get home and find that they clearly can?t follow directions. I asked for a double bacon and cheese steak burger with lettuce, tomato and 1000 island none of which was on my sandwich. Then my husband asked for a plane sandwich and they gave him one with lettuce and ketchup. How hard is it to check what you are doing? They were not even busy when we were there. I worked in restaurants all through college and know it?s not that hard to double check an order before you serve it. If it wasn?t for my daughter wanting them for dinner we would of never gone because every time we have ever been to this Stake n Shake our order has been wrong.

My family (5 of us) came in around 11:30 pm on Thursday, August 25th after driving from Texas. We ordered our food from the kiosk and the food was ready about 15 minutes later. My fries were not even warm, the chili was watered down but I was tiredand hungry so I didn?t complain. As soon we got our food and started to eat, a worker came by and said we close in 15 minutes. We were like ok. Then at 11:59 he gets on the intercom and says ?the time is now 11:59 and we close in one minute.? We we?retrying to hurry. He walked back by and gave us a dirty look, so we asked ?can we finish eating or do you want us to leave now?? He then says ?My manager says you have until 12:15.? We finished eating a...
