"I absolutely loved my experience here. We are visiting NY from OBX VA/NC, so I didn’t expect to be able to find a good sushi place up here but this one is better than our FAVORITE sushi place back home!! The food is perfect, the sushi chef is a really cool guy. We even tried new sushi, which is something that I’m usually scared to do. The chef made something just for us and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had! We didn’t sit at the hibachi but we got to see another family get the hibachi experience and it looked so fun! Very cool people and the food couldn’t be any better. I saw someone mention the food not being the best here and I’d have to say they’re wrong! This place IS the best! Maybe sushi/hibachi just wasn’t for them if they didn’t like this place. I look forward to coming back here every year!!"

"We got to Stella’s right as they opened at 5 and double checked that we wouldn’t need a reservation. Open Table showed us multiple reservations available between 5:15 and 6, so we assumed we’d be okay walking in. The manager(? at the hostess stand was incredibly rude. She acted very put off that we had walked in. We mentioned that several reservations were available, but were told that “that doesn’t matter” as she continued to act annoyed that we had asked for a table. A server came over and spoke to her and she eventually relented and told us we could sit on the deck. There were many tables available even as we were leaving an hour later. Thankfully, after that really off-putting reception, everything else was excellent. Our server, Nathan, was amazing. We had the whipped ricotta appetizer, chicken Marsala, and the jaegerschnitzel; all of it was perfectly made and we loved our dinners. Overall, it’s a good restaurant, but the experience was definitely dampened by the manager(? who greeted us. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Service was good, friendly, got drink and an entree wrong but was prompt. Alfredo is NOT alfredo, a watery imposter at best. Eggplant parmesan was received by mistake but was deep fried jumbled mess. Spaghetti and "meat "balls: first the portion for $20 was scant. Sauce was OVER SALTED and awful...absolutely terrible and ate only half the plate. The "meat "balls were large, but was that even meat? I have never, ever, anywhere had a spaghetti sauce and meatball like this, and hope to never again. Huge takehome box is going in the garbage. Please train someone as a cook...then learn Italian cuisine. Extremely over priced. Family of 4 with No appetizers..$120!? Even if the food was marginally acceptable it would be on the high end. Oh, and no bread? Seriously? We stayed, ate and paid because we were too hungry to go anywhere else. This place needs serious help. Its April, after Easter...take your Christmas decorations down already too."

"I had a group of 16 20, which became a group of 24. A mix up of groups, (both named Jeff, and both bowling groups) caused a bit of confusion, but only briefly. The front desk and GM snapped to attention, after a brief reconnoiter, set up for us quickly in another room. Amazing staff, amazing general manager we were super impressed. A couple minutes extra wait. Ordering and paying was done with multiple checks (always a pain for wait staff), but our two employees took it in stride, with joyful attitudes, smiles on their faces, with alacrity and professionalism. Great service with our cake and candles delivery, with forks and small plates. I made the birthday girl her favorite cake, and we all passed, for a quick distribution. Guests mentioned their food was tasty and delicious, with substantial portions. I have never had a group reservation and service go better. Perfect evening. I would HIGHLY recommend the Lakewood OG for a big group. Amazing service. Thank you to all of you."

"They never seem to be able to get my order correct. They have gotten it wrong over a dozen times. One time they even forgot to give me my slushy, so I had to wait in line again and drive around for an extra 20 minutes. They tried to tell me that the slushy was supposed to be a pure liquid. The employees are just average every time I come here. It seems like everyone is experiencing the same issues. The baguettes are now as small as a child's arm. There is hardly any dressing in my cup for my salad. I have been understanding when they are out of ingredients."
