"What can I say about this place, I was suggested by co workers in NYC that this place serves Top Notch Food along with the Suoer Friendly staff! I finally made it there this weekend and everything my co workers said was True! This place is a must! Stop by restaurant that you should go to when within the Stamford area (or even close to the Stamford area), this place is worth your time and taste! I was surprised how good the Italian food was being that I work in the 5 boroughs of NYC. Weather you are up in the area for Hunting or skiing or whatever floats your boat, this is a must stop by place when lunch or dinner rolls around. I also want to say that the Staff are Super Friendly and it doesn't get any better than this! Love this place, I will be back For sure!"

"I took my mom and brothers here for lunch. The bang bang shrimp and boneless wings were delicious. I also enjoyed my buffalo chicken salad, but I felt they could have cut back on some of the chicken pieces. My fiancé enjoyed his rodeo burger and fries as well. We finished the meal off with a slice of cheesecake and snickers cake, both delicious. Due to lack of staffing, they only had one waitress who was also working the cash register, but she kept up with everyone very well and was quite pleasant. I always enjoy going here when I'm in the Stamford area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30"

"When I approached the door, I noticed that the door to the right had birthday decorations, while the door to the left did not. I hesitantly opened the left door to inquire if they were open. The gentleman behind the bar responded rather gruffly with "Can I help you?" When I asked if they were open, he replied in an even gruffer tone, "Not at all!" I nearly missed his afterthought that they would be open after 6 PM (it was just before 5). I understand they were likely closed for a private party, but a sign on the door would have been helpful, along with better customer service. A polite response like, "I'm sorry, we're closed until 6 for a private event," might have encouraged me to return in an hour. Instead, we went to Vasta's Bistro and Pizzeria, where we were warmly welcomed, received excellent service, and enjoyed delicious food. Mama Maria's was also a great choice with generous portion sizes. Additionally, I want to emphasize my point: after I posted a fairly diplomatic review, the owner responded with an aggressive comment, saying, "Your mother should have swallowed you, f*ck you." Clearly, leaving was the right decision. I also noticed another one-star review from just yesterday with a similarly negative and aggressive remark."
