"I love Magnolias is not only the food great, but the owners are friendly and the staff is super efficient and beautiful. The food is fresh, tasty and served in large portions, and the atmosphere is sunny, clean and has a comfortable decor interesting and beautiful, without being rich. A really great find in a small town. And when you come from St. Louis, take the back roads through Alton and enjoy the landscape it is a beautiful ride."

Here at a day trip from St. Louis. A great place, with absolutely delicious food. Our server was very sweet, which is always a plus. My husband had the Rueben sandwich he said was great. I had the cooking salad and it was excellent. Beautiful building, with an interesting history. We will definitely come back!
