The Brixton - Carte

I paid $17 for a power grain bowl and it was literally 2 cup of freekeh with roasted cauliflower and broccoli. That meal cost $1 to make, tops!

came for happy hour and everything was great! except it was we and another table in the whole restaurant and they curbed the volume all over the way. super excessive, but good for hh

Food was undercooked and plates were served incomplete. Fried chicken Benedict was made of undercooked chicken tenders. Beet salad chicken was cold and overcooked. Understaffed, overpriced. Voir le carte

Noise to the point that it was impossible to talk. Little on the menu for vegetarians. Food was bland. Servers over-extended so little attention. All this for over 50 pp. (not as stated). Disappointing.

My brother and nephew got into town late from a long flight I hadn’t seen them in a year I made reservations earlier in the week. We got to the restaurant and they said they were closing, and that they had closed the kitchen because it wasn’t busy. And the way it was done was really lame and rude. Not handled well at all. So I made reservations and showed up to a restaurant closing and was treated rudely. Won’t be going back.

The staff was very attentive, and the food was adequate. Clearly a millenial date night bar striving to be a bit more, at a higher price point, so noisy acoustics. The drinks are fine, but the wine list was an abomination a thin list of bad wines, and the few good wines were all out and the staff knew nothing about the choices. They did offer tastes of the few remaining bottles, but for an SF restaurant it was embarrassing. That said, we took our friends based on location, and clearly did not do enough research, so its on us to a large extent. Voir le carte

The Brixton is a favorite spot for lunch or dinner. It's got a diverse menu and great cocktails and wine selections. You can share a few small plates or indulge in one of the mains. The music is pretty loud so beware of that not so easy to have conversation if your party is more than 2 or 3 people who can lean in to talk. Seems to me that it tends to be louder at dinner than at lunch /brunch. I enjoy going there for lunch and having a bite to eat and doing some work as its one of the few places open all afternoon and they are nice about it if they're not too busy. Love their salads and the short ribs are awesome too.

the brixton is a popular place for lunch or dinner. there is a diverse menu and great cocktails and wine selection. they can share a few small plates or dip into one of the nets. the music is quite loud, so conscious that not have so easy conversation when their party is more than 2 or 3 people who can lean on talking. it seems to me that it is more loud when eating in the evening than when eating in the middle of the day. I enjoy going to lunch there and eating a bite and doing something work, because his one of the few places is open all afternoon and they are nice about it when they are not too busy. love their salads and the short ribs are also awesome.

Highly disappointing brunch. First strike- our coffee didn’t arrive until the food did 30 minutes into the meal. Our server confessed hat it was his first time working brunch and couldn’t answer many of our questions about the menu, but instead of trying harder/being attentive, he went on to make multiple errors in our order and not apologize/offer any discount as a result. Brought the wrong side dish for someone and then completely forgot another one. Not to mention the food was highly overpriced. My two egg, entirely vegetarian omelette was $18 and came with approximate 2 potatoes on the side. I’d been here for happy hour before and it was decent, but won’t be coming back here anytime soon...
