My neighbors and myself loved being at The Whitney and able to experience it!

Several mistakes by the waitress! Over charged for several items. Forgot our second bottle of wine.

The tea was a wonderful experience. I only wonder if there are menu changes? I attended back to back and was offered the same menu both times. Other than that it was great!

Whitney is a great place with good food and ambience. This time the service was below par. Have had great service many times before so can’t judge based on this one experience.

I wonder if you change the menu for the Tea? I attended 2x and the food was exactly the same. Also, the second time the waiter provided some history on the Whitney and I really appreciated it. I would highly encourage this to embrace the history and educate your patrons. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I hope to come back soon. Voir le carte

The Whitney is a part of Detroit’s history, this is definitely a must see. The staff is extremely accommodating and efficient at what they do. The hidden gem is the ghost bar in the third floor, they serve drinks and desserts. They have specialty drinks such as the Witching Hour, expresso martini’s, and Tony’s specialty drink. The Whitney is so enjoyable for every occasion!!!

It was phenomenal as always. We celebrated our 20th anniversary. My wife and I love The Whitney! The food was superb. We did the four course which included the lobster bisque. My wife had filet migon and I had the 10oz rib eye. For dessert we had carrot cake. The service was top notch. From our arrival greeted by awesome valet, the hostesses, the manager, even down to the waiter. It was not noisy at all. It was quiet. The pianist played elegant music. My wife and I were able to get awesome pictures. We will be back again definitely. What can we say it’s our favorite restaurant in Detroit.

Interesting (albeit pricey) venue. Be sure to take the tour-it 's complimentary, but they don 't make that obvious. Disappointed that the waygu beef special, ordered medium-RARE was delivered Medium, with no replacement or concession. If you 're celebrating a birthday, you 'll have to request your $50 discount. I did not... and missed out. The Ghost bar is 'walk-in ', but very limited seating--approximately five 2-top tables and 10 seats at the bar. You 'd be comfortable in 'country club casual ' or dressed 'to the nines '. We saw both styles and that made it rather fun. We would go back again. Voir le carte
