The Pickle Stand Delicatessen

Pickle stand rating is dropping with its menu changes. Every sandwich I've had here is good, sides were always meh. Since the place has made their menu ala carte, the lunch cost has doubled. $45 for lunch, I won't be returning.

Came here on the way back from a round of drinks at Esca. Ambiance is cute and they have great pickles! We tried their kosher dill pickles and they were pretty good. Will definitely have to come by during the day to try some of their food. Unfortunately the wine I drank here was really off and gave me food poisoning, so maybe avoid the wine and go for their bottled beverages and food.

Came here on whim. I ordered the meat loaf melt because it was their special and figured that was something they would make decently. I thought it was pretty good. I also ordered a ham and cheese melt to go. That was pretty good, too. I like their selection of beer in bottle and tap. This is a wine and beer exclusive bar. I just tried pickle stand for the first time today. I got the bbq chicken wrap. The wrap itself was very good. Served with chicken, Cole slaw, and bbq sauce. It was pretty packed with chicken. My one complaint would be their pricing. 9.50 for a wrap that doesn't come with a side. Give me a bag of chips please. Mondo has panini for under 10 bucks with fries. Overall, I would return but not right away due to their pricing

the-pickle-stand-delicatessen-tavern- Whoa! was a little apprehensive with the scratchy music but while standing at the bar skimming thru the menu the bar tender looked up, smiled and said, all our corned beef is processed in-house SOLD! everyone has to have something great and I 'm thinking it 's their corned beef. Well I was right! I ordered the corned beef on rye that was pressed on the grill to a medium...i was still able to experience the chewy Rye which I love but enjoy the subtle crispy that marriages with the soft and salty beef. thank you! You 're going to be successful.

This is a nice little hole in the wall place. The lighting is dim and the food is good. The food is pretty simple, sandwiches. Ruebens, Lauren's, and a few other varieties as well. They have potato salad as well as pickles. The pickle that came with my sandwich (a breaded chicken patty on rye with thousand island dressing and pickled jalepenos) was a typical dill. I didn't ask if they made them there, but I assume they do if you can buy pickles by the jar. The sandwich was a good combination of flavors and a bit messy. The prices are pretty nice, $11.50 includes a drink and a bag of Lays. They do have 8 beers on tap, but it was a bit early for me to have a beer. All in all, it's a nice, cozy... Voir le carte

Let me start this review by stating the fact that I love corned beef. I went into The Pickle Stand not knowing what to expect from the menu and when I found a corned beef rueben just waiting to be ordered I had to snatch the opportunity. The food was very good, my rueben was really flavorful and fresh. My daughter had a veggie sandwich of which she ate half, she wasn 't crazy about the idea that it was made on rye bread instead of white. My girlfriend had a turkey sandwich and she enjoyed it. All in all, a successful lunch outing. The ambiance of the deli is nice. It 's a modern bar with a fresh deli feel. Not someplace you would expect to find drunken rowdy punks. It 's more of an atmospher...

Unfortunately my experience here was a flub, The prices were disappointing and I didn 't like my sub. The manager was pleasant, so what can I say? Maybe I 'll try a happy hour here someday. I was pretty excited when this place opened up. Good, central location on Main Street right near where I work. However, I wish I picked somewhere else to take my large group of friends from out-of-state out to lunch. I got the Pastrami lunch special. For $7 I got a rather small sandwich and a flavorless pickle. The sandwich was hot, but didn 't have much going on in terms of flavor. Really not a great price for what you get. The beer taps were broken and they only had bottles. OK, that type of thing happe...

My husband and I tried the Pickle Stand for lunch today and we were not disappointed. It is a relatively small restaurant/bar but cozy and nicely decorated. We grabbed seats at the bar, where we were welcomed by the waitress almost immediately. The menu offers a good selection of sandwiches, we settled on a turkey carver (me) and a chicken cordon bleu (my husband). We also got small sides of coleslaw and potato salad to share. They also carry Deep River kettle chips, which is nice that they picked a local brand of chips to stock. They have a good selection of beer and wine. My husband got a bottle of Pabst Blue Ribbon for only $2, can't beat that! I did think the wine prices were a but high... Voir le carte
