"Just a terrible experience shared by othered we have spoken to. Menu posters here on web site was not even close to the menu we were presented. If you have specifics good needs as I do you should not go here unless you see the menu in advance e. We were having a cocktail at rooftop bar( very nice by the way) and should have eaten light fare menu there. Serve sadly was inept, the young waiter was clearly out of his comfort zone. The barumendi was good as were the desserts. The rest was a fiasco. Ordered gazpacho “to share as a starter” my exact words. Had to order smoked trout app as my main as there was bothering else in the very limited menu I could eat. He brought the fish dinner and trout and we asked about the gazpacho. Said he was going to bring it now. We declined it. Supposed to be crust nopales with trout but the “ran out”. I asked for bread or crackers. Finally came out with some nice grilled bread for which we were charged $4, wonder how much the crispy nopales would cost as they were not deducted from the price. Only two desserts on menu. We had both as we were starving. Both were very good. Our bill before tip was $180 But we had three rounds as it all took so Long."

The food was tasty, but average. We had brunch and I thought the prices were high.

I was a bit disappointed that the online menu didn't match what was offered in the restaurant. The main course options were quite limited.

I had a positive experience at the restaurant. The waitress was very helpful, but she was working alone and could have used some additional support.

The food was just okay, but not nearly worth the price. The restaurant was completely empty, which made the ambiance less than appealing. When we made our reservation, it asked if we were coming for any special occasion. My husband put in that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was not mentioned once by any of the staff. We spent $75 on just our main course alone and left hungry and disappointed. Best from a chef! A foodie’s delight! Every plate from Q Salad to Branzino and Short Ribs and desserts were impeccably prepared and presented. Thank you Chef Chuck Adcock. Table service was proper, welcoming and attentive, everyone pitched in. (DIners can disregard the ambiance, but do go for the fantastic food and service. Food and Beverage Manager Stephen Kelly, thank you for evolving Pink Grouse. This was a great experience.

The food is very tasty, but the service is poor. The server brought me my check without me asking for it, without asking me if I wanted dessert, and despite it being early, and me being there for less than one hour in a 3/4 empty restaurant, and after having ordered the most expensive items on the menu. There was absolutely no reason for him to bring me the check at that time. This is poor service, which is a pity because the food is good. I will not return.

A true culinary masterpiece! As a food enthusiast, I was delighted by every dish, from the Q Salad to the Branzino and Short Ribs, ending with exquisite desserts. A big thank you to Chef Chuck Adcock for the impeccable preparation and presentation. The table service was warm, attentive, and professional, with the staff working seamlessly together. While the ambiance may not be to everyone's taste, the fabulous food and outstanding service certainly make it worth a visit. Hats off to Food and Beverage Manager Stephen Kelly for transforming Pink Grouse. This was an exceptional dining experience! Voir le carte

I visited The Pink Grouse with my supervisor for Restaurant Week in Charlottesville, and the first thing that stood out to me was the decor. The restaurant has a beautiful, modern, and quirky vibe. Our server was exceptionally attentive and friendly, letting us enjoy our cocktails for a while before we placed our orders. We had three courses, and each one was just as delightful as the last. The dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. The cocktails were expertly mixed, and we never felt rushed throughout our meal. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I highly recommend this place, and whether it's Restaurant Week or not, I will definitely be back!

I ordered the fish with potatoes and asparagus, and it tasted like something from a basic frozen meal. The vegetables were barely cooked and lacked any sauce or seasoning. The fish was thin and dry. Our server hardly checked on us, and when he finally did, I asked for some salt and pepper, but it hardly made a difference. My friends ordered the oyster mushroom dish (which was unappetizing) and the linguini (which was the best of the three, but it was swimming in liquid from the mussels). To top it all off, our server never cleared away our appetizer dishes, leaving crumbs on the table, which feels odd for a restaurant where the entrees are around $40 each. If I could turn back time, I woul...
