"I visited this restaurant with a friend and her grandson for a late lunch around 2 PM on a Thursday, and we were the only customers there at the time. You order at the counter, and then they serve your food to you at your table. While waiting, we enjoyed some chips and salsa. Their daily specials are fantastic, and the drinks are delightful. Since I wasn't too hungry, I opted for a taco and two sides from their pick-one, two, or three menu. The taco was a good size and generously filled; mine featured pulled pork with ginger, which was a perfect blend of flavors. I really enjoyed the fried plantains and street corn as well. My meal was reasonably priced—similar to what I would have paid at Culvers without dessert—yet it felt more relaxed. Our server was friendly and enthusiastic, making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to others!"

The ordering system is a bit unusual: you open a tab, sit wherever you like with your table number, and your food will be brought to you. If you want to order more or get additional drinks, they will add those to your tab. When you're ready to leave, you check out at the front with your table number. The food is absolutely fantastic, but I do wish it were set up like a traditional sit-down restaurant. Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Dinner.
