This place is makes me so happy. The food is excellent. Uncle D, and his staff, are what truly make this place an amazing and classic diner. The people that are attracted here make the atmosphere light. Please, get a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant with avocado, it’s killer.

Recently visited. Updated Old style diner decor. Coffee was very good. We ordered poached eggs over their homemade hash. It was excellent. better than some other places) Generous portions. I dont nornally rate homefries,but they are very good. Not over cooked the itailian sausage was excellent. Highly recommend. Voir le carte

One of my favorite breakfast locations in the area. And it's no surprise it's always busy. Some of the best service, atmosphere and food. Portion sizes are fantastic, too. We've typically gone for breakfast and they have live music, which is such a nice touch. Highly recommend checking this place out and their hash is the best I've ever had. A favorite of ours since moving to the area several years ago.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast at around 7:30 AM with three companions. The atmosphere was fantastic; they had live acoustic music playing in the morning, and they even gave my son a complimentary donut as we were leaving. The service was generally good, especially considering how busy they were that morning, so no complaints on that front. However, the food was not appealing at all. It didn’t look appetizing, tasted mediocre at best, and two of us ended up with stomach issues afterward. The dishes were quite greasy, and they seemed to overcomplicate simple meals. I might consider giving it another chance in the future, but I wouldn’t recommend it at this time.

2018- Totally unexpected. Great food, fresh fruit, and an offer of donuts for the kids. We just stopped while traveling and were pleasantly surprised. 2019- Again traveling, we took the time (2 min off highway) to stop both northbound and southbound a week later for a great meal. I really can’t stress enough how much I like Uncle D’s. As others have said, it’s the whole package, great food, reasonable prices, and staff who really care. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, everyone is pleasant, and takes the time to care. The service stands above even some of the finest restaurants I’ve been to.
