Hands down 1 of the best Greek spots I have ever been to. Everything from the Gyro meat to the pita to the meatball soup was sooooooo delicious. Will definitely be making this a once a week spot! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I found the gyro to be slightly dry, but it had great flavor. The Greek fries could benefit from a drizzle of olive oil. I ordered takeout, but I would definitely consider dining in at this location next time—it has a lovely atmosphere!

We have been at least four times over the past two years and I told the owner tonight the food gets better everytime we go. I have also had their take out twice and it's just as good. Yia Yia's is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Mesquite. The owner and chef, who is Greek, brings many authentic flavors to the United States. From the cuisine to the restaurant's ambiance, everything is genuine. I opted for the tzatziki and pita bread as a side, and my favorite dish on the menu is the traditional entrée-sized Greek salad with chicken. The marinated chicken skewers are grilled to perfection over an open fire. You absolutely have to visit Yia Yia's and give it a try!

We’ve been huge fans of this restaurant for years! It’s a local favorite and a true hidden gem. The food is always consistent and delicious, and I believe the main chef is also the owner, which shows how much pride he takes in his cooking! My personal favorites are the gyro plate and the dolmas, and the flaky fried cod is also fantastic. I highly recommend it! The atmosphere is unique, featuring a mix of funny signs and pictures of Greece, giving the place its own distinct personality. It’s truly one of a kind! Voir le carte
