"We hit this spot at least once a month since 2004, previous owners and current. 5 stars always. Wife 's salmon excellent, my ribeye excellent, service excellent. We had a Vincennes Kiwanis coupon good for buy one entree, get the second free up to a $14.95 value. We used one on Father 's Day, so busy had to sit at the bar, owners Grandson tending bar, no issue using the coupon, which was not in a coupon book. Tonight upon paying, the owner stated she needed to see us physically tearing the coupon out of the booklet, which, I just tear them out, place in wallet, and redeem with no issue anywhere when we are close to an establishment over the past year. My friend had a spare coupon and they were never going to make it down from Vincennes before it expired the end of this month. So, when the owner explained her issue with said coupon, I said no problem, paid the bill and tipped well and end of story. But.. the disclaimer on the back of this coupon states "Vincennes Kiwanis Club is not responsible if a resturant closes, changes ownership, or will not honor their agreement with the club. I guessing her mindset would be people are reprinting these. Sorry, but we are old and honest and were loyal customers."

"The steak was outstanding, and the salmon was even better. Although the steak portion was small, the salmon was the best I've ever tasted. There is ample parking available, and you can watch the train zoom by right outside the door. The building has a lot of character, reminiscent of stepping back in time. Meal type: Dinner."

"Went there to have lunch today (Sunday afternoon around 2). There were maybe 5 tables of customers, only saw 1 waitress, maybe a few more in the back behind the front counter. Waited over 10 minutes and waitress only came over just to ask how many of us there were. She never came back to us until we finally got tired of waiting and headed for the door, then she asked if we were leaving. Not sure what’s going on with this place but today didn’t help us want to come back anytime soon, especially at a slow time. *edited for owner*.. It’s not that we had to WAIT 10 minutes. It’s that we didn’t get any service at all lol"

"We ordered our food. One dish was incorrect when it arrived. We informed the server who wanted to argue about what was ordered. They sounded similar but were different. The plate was taken back to the kitchen and returned with the correct order. At this point we noticed the entire kitchen staff standing in a group staring at our table and laughing and whispering with the server. One even pointed at us at one point. Fearing they had done something undesirable to the food, it wasn't eaten and sent back. The manager assured us that someone just probably said something funny. Guess it was something that kept them staring at our table and whispering and laughing for the rest of our meal. The manager did take that dish off the bill. Won't be back. Not a good way to do business."

"There is no place like DQ. For sure when it comes to their biscuits and gravy for breakfast, it’s probably one of my favorite meals. They also have some amazing hamburgers and don’t ever worry if you have your pup with you they can even get a pup cup filled with whipped cream. I wanna do they make you feel special, but they also make your animals feel special. Pricey, yes but the food is great. Never take things for granted that you’re willing to pay for Dairy Queen Grill and chill. If it’s your birthday, check out their ice cream cake get some the best.
