"One of the best places for breakfast in downtown Albany! Brick Mortar offers a wide range of seating and makes you feel as though you're very fancy while still being perfectly affordable! The service is great, the people here really do genuinely care about you getting good food! We opted to sit outside, having this option was wonderful; I loved enjoying the weather while eating my food! The atmosphere was so comfortable, it was a great place to sit and chat with my friends. I got the grilled cheese, it sounds childish but this grilled cheese actually featured 4 different kinds of cheese (Bleu, Swiss, parmesean, and provolone) as well as sliced tomato and basil and was served on sourdough. I also got the clam chowder, and it was phenomenal. I was there with 2 friends, they got the fresh fruit crepe and the smoked salmon crepe. Both said that their meal was delicious. It was great to have both the breakfast and lunch options available at the same time. After the meal I went to the Cafe inside the restaurant and got a lavender lemonade. It was unbelievably refreshing, I highly recommend it on a hot day. The woman at the counter was so kind, I originally wanted a plain lemonade but she insisted I throw some flavor in there and she was very right!! If you're looking for a classy, comfortable, and friendly place for breakfast or lunch definitely consider brick and mortar!"

"We have been going to Novak's for decades, we travel from Eugene and Portland to meet up for family meals. Their food and service is great. They are only open on Thursday's and Friday's now but still worth the trip. We did the buffet for $49 per person but you get an alcoholic beverage, plus your choice of appetizers and desserts on top of the unlimited entree options. It ends up being a great deal and you get to have a smorgasbord of all the menu items. Kids 4 and under get access to the buffet for free. Everything is so yummy down to their house butter. The cabbage rolls, sausage, and chicken paprikas are so good. They used to be located right off of I5 which was more convenient but now is in downtown Albany. The restaurant is cozy but cute. Always a good experience!"

"Excellent Customer Service. Great pizza. They just need to sell pitchers of beer ?. PizzAmore wasn't our first choice but they will be from now on when visiting Albany. This experience actually started over at Abby's down the road......Abby's lost out on a 300 sale because of HORRIBLE customer service. It started outside in the parking lot. We all just got finished hiking and decided to have a beer before going inside and ordering. We were scolded by an employee and told not to be drinking beer in the parking lot. I understand the law and don't understand why the pizza place employee was so concerned about us drinking outside. They didn't serve us the beers so if anything it's a public intox with no liability to the restaurant. Then we went inside to order and the cashier wanted physical ID for everyone who would be drinking beer. Everyone had ID on them but one was a picture on a phone and the cashier said it wasn't good enough. After providing everyone else's ID and verifying we were all of age (none of us are under 33) one in our party wouldn't have been able to participate. So we left. We took our and went to PizzAmore. We received welcoming open arms there, EXCELLENT customer service AND no ID check because clearly everyone wqs older then the 21 year old that took our order. PizzAmore had delicious food and we spent well over 200 almost 300 there. Thanks to the Abby's Pizza lady we had an even better experience where we were wanted and appreciated. 0 stars for Abby 5 stars for PizzAmore ??"

"We were able to sit outside last night for a lovely meal with Jeff as our wait staff person. He’s always very kind and efficient with a good sense of humor. He’s helped us a few times before and service is always impeccable. The chicken wings and ahi tuna appetizers were delicious along with our blackened salmon entrées and the spicy prawns. The restaurant noise levels can be very loud at times especially when there are large parties so being able to dine outside with lovely friends and weather was a treat. And the inside noise level has never stopped us from returning to one of our go-to restaurants in Albany. As always, a delightful experience!"

"Can’t even put into words what a great time I had at willhems. But I’ll try! The service was amazing. Our hostess, Hailey made my Dad and I feel super welcomed and her timing with checking in on us was perfect. She talked with us and really added to the atmosphere. The decor and vibes were great as well. What I’ve really been waiting to talk about is the food. Oh my god it was amazing. I had the heart attack burger and boy they weren’t kidding. Two half pound Pattie’s, a smother of bacon and cheese rolling down the entire sandwich. It was delicious. The meat was seasoned so well but left just enough of the original beef flavor. The tots that came with it were also seasoned to perfection. Almost like cajon tots. By far one of the best meals I’ve had In awhile. It was reasonably price and the portions were very generous. I’m very excited to return and try the rest of the menu."

"As a doordasher, I went into building to host who was extremely rude, cut me off before I was finished speaking and was insulting in his demeanor. The door should behind me was also treated with disrespect rudeness and was insulted by this man. It is important to remember that door dashers represent customers. A lot of us are professionals and our industries and use this as a second job. We also eat at your restaurants so if you're rude to us not only are you rude to our client, to our employer you're losing a lot of business. On my own I will not come back to this restaurant based on my experience and it does not matter how good the food is. People deserve to be treated with kindness and respect done Right basic decency."

"The place is interesting I'll try and explain. So the burger is good and if that's what you want is a quality burger then this will meet or meat your needs. Now if you want table side service then you might look elsewhere because this is an order at the counter establishment. The odd thing was how the hostess taking orders appeared completely overwhelmed and stressed and it was really being felt by the customer even though there were only 18 customers in the place and 4 people in the line. Not exactly stress making busy so that was odd, the lady tending tables appeared to be easily handling the work and we had good service from her. So the service was fine but a bit odd at the order and the food was good to even better than average and the place was clean."

"I am somewhat new to the area and on the hunt for some great fish and chips around Albany and Corvallis. The Depot Cafe was recommended for just that purpose so we tried it out. FOOD: I ordered some clam chowder in addition to the fish and chips. The clam chowder was creamier than I 'm used to, but had a good flavor and scratched the itch. Fish and chips hit the mark too, and malt vinegar was readily available (are you actually eating fish and chips without it? . SERVICE: This was the best part of the experience. Our server was one of the friendliest, most welcoming, most efficient and helpful I 've encountered. I wish I remembered her name, but she seemed to be running the whole place and was doing it seamlessly. AMBIANCE: Decorations were what I 'd expect from a place called The Depot . The variety in the fish tanks were fun to watch while we ate."

"This restaurant has authentic Thai Food. Friendly service in a comfortable, spotlessly clean atmosphere. I found the Lunch menu was a great value! It includes soup or salad, an Entree of your choice, and comes with 2 scoops of steamed rice. The Drunken Noodles are excellent, either alone or you can add a protein such as shrimp for a modest additional charge. I highly recommend House Of Noodle!"

"The last 3 times I have gone here has just been a hard experience to swallow, Pops used to be a great local experience and used to hold themselves to higher standard now service is rude if you get any at all food is in a bad state upon serving and toast may not be a big deal but it is supposed to be there if you pay, if pops is still a part of the public and is a reflection of such we are in for a lot of trouble, save some money buy eggs and watch a youtube video for delicious breakfast it'll always be better than this garbage.. good luck too all and farewell pops"

"We had a lovely time celebrated my dad's 87th Birthday. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and sweet I think they had to re do my dad's special dessert the grandkids had called in and ordered because he selected a creme brulee instead of the chocolate cake. They were super easy to work with (my daughter in law had called to make the arrangements for the cake and to pick up the tab and there was no problem. At first I was bummed that they moved from their downtown Albany location but this new space is working well."
