"Very good local breakfast fare. Portion sizes need to be managed a little better, but they execute food well and it tastes good. Would be hard-pressed finding a better breakfast in that specific area Looking for new breakfast spots, found a small shop I have passed before many times and realized I have yet to be here. So I made the trek out and dragged the girlfriend along to give this place a fair shake. Server was friendly enough, kept the tea flowing. I had coffee already, so didn't get to judge their preferred ground beans. But I still got my french toast, and she got the st. pattys day special which was homemade corned beef hash with eggs your way, bread, home fries, and toast Food came out promptly, I took pictures and dug in. The portion sizes, well you get more bang for your buck if you go for the specials. Her plate was mounded with egg, hash, and cubed potatoes fried in the fryer twice. Meanwhile I got 3 pieces of grocery store cinnamon raisin bread with powdered sugar on top. With that typed, they know how to make french toast. The bread was properly soaked and slightly custardy. it was very thin bread, but cooked correctly. So despite the portion, it was tasty enough to forgive the smaller portion size. They don't do great food, they do basic food done well. To me, that's enough to warrant a solid showing for the area. It's not great, but it's not bad either. It's a nice little local shop to get some eggs and potatoes."
